El rapero Ice T anunció que Warner Brothers Records retiraría la controvertida canción “Cop Killer” de todas las copias futuras de su álbum Body Count. La canción había sido objeto de protestas por parte de grupos encargados de hacer cumplir la ley que dijeron que fomentaba el asesinato de policías. Ice T dijo que regalaría grabaciones de “Cop Killer” en sus conciertos. Ice T luego se uniría al elenco del drama policial de NBC, Law and Order, donde interpreta el papel del detective de policía Odafin “Fin” Tutuola.
