Es un cantante de música popular venezolana
El intérprete de “El Ladrón de tu Amor” y “María Antonia”, parecía no tener otro destino que la música. Su abuela fue bandolinista y su abuelo fabricaba instrumentos musicales. A temprana edad aprendió por sí mismo a cantar. En 1973 se presentó por primera vez en el Aula Magna de la UCV. Fue el punto de partida, ha grabado alrededor de 15 discos. Es promotor de géneros autóctonos como el galerón, la jota margariteña y carupanera, los polos margariteños, la gaita y la malagueña.

Born in El Pilar, Sucre state, on July 12, 1947, the interpreter of “El Ladrón de tu Amor” and “María Antonia” seemed to have no other destiny than music. His grandmother was a bandolinist and his grandfather made musical instruments. At an early age he taught himself to sing. In 1973 it was presented for the first time in the Aula Magna of the UCV. It was the starting point, he has recorded around 15 albums. He is a promoter of native genres such as the galerón, the jota margariteña and carupanera, the poles margariteños, the bagpipe and the malagueña.
