Biografía

 

Es un músico británico, conocido por su voz de tenor ligero y por sus aportes como compositor con el grupo de rock británico The Hollies y con el folk rock súper grupo Crosby, Stills and Nash. Nash es un coleccionista de fotografía y un fotógrafo publicado.

 

Nash fue nombrado Orden del Imperio Británico (OBE) en los honores del cumpleaños de 2010 por sus servicios a la música y a la caridad.

 

Formó parte de la banda de rock inglesa The Hollies con quien estuvo hasta el año 1967, alcanzando un lugar en la historia del rock-pop con el disco Butterfly. Luego cambia su residencia a Estados Unidos, donde se unirá al grupo formado por David Crosby, exintegrante de The Byrds, y Stephen Stills para formar la Crosby, Stills and Nash, grupo de raíces folk, que tuvo en su disco Deja Vu, con el canadiense Neil Young como cuarto componente, el punto álgido en popularidad y calidad.

Biography

 

He is a British musician, known for his light tenor voice and for his contributions as a songwriter with the British rock group The Hollies and with the folk rock super group Crosby, Stills and Nash. Nash is a photography collector and published photographer.

 

Nash was appointed Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2010 Birthday Honors for services to music and charity.

 

He was part of the English rock band The Hollies with whom he was until 1967, reaching a place in the history of rock-pop with the album Butterfly. He then changed his residence to the United States, where he joined the group formed by David Crosby, a former member of The Byrds, and Stephen Stills to form Crosby, Stills and Nash, a folk roots group, which he had on his album Deja Vu, with the Canadian Neil Young as the fourth component, the high point in popularity and quality.

 

In addition, he has a long solo career, where records such as Songs for Beginners stand out, as well as the songs Military Madness, Chicago and Be Yourself. Currently, along with tours with his former colleagues from the CSN, he dedicates his time to photography, art thanks to which he has exhibited in various rooms in England and the United States. Some of his songs entered the Billboard charts such as “Chicago”, which reached number 35 in June 1971, and “Prison song”, included on the Wild Tales album, which reached number 34 in the month of 1971. January 1974 on the Top Albums chart.
