En este día de 2020, Taylor Swift lanza su octavo álbum, Folklore. Swift concibió el álbum durante la cuarentena y lo describió como una “colección de canciones e historias que fluían como un torrente de conciencia”. Aaron Dessner y Jack Antonoff produjeron el álbum de forma virtual. En lugar de presentarlo con una gran campaña publicitaria, se anunció solo un día antes. Al igual que sus seis álbumes anteriores, llega directamente al número uno en Estados Unidos.

Instead of leading into it with a big publicity campaign, it’s announced just a day earlier. Like her previous six albums, it goes straight to #1 in America.
