Biografía

El nombre de Beyoncé es un homenaje al apellido de soltera de su madre.

Hija de Celestine Ann Beyincé, propietaria de una peluquería y salón de belleza, y de Mathew Knowles, productor y mánager musical, antes gerente de ventas de Xerox. Tiene una hermana llamada Solange, y ascendencia africana, irlandesa y francesa

Con tan solo ocho años intentó formar un grupo infantil.

Asistió a la St. Mary’s Elementary School en Fredericksburg, Texas, donde se matriculó en clases de baile. Estudió en la Escuela Secundaria para la Realización y Artes Visuales, en Houston, donde mostró su talento musical.
