Iron Maiden logró colocar su primer álbum en la posición # 1, en las UK Charts, con: “The Number Of The Beast” – su tercera producción discográfica. Representó el debut del vocalista Bruce Dickinson y el último aporte del baterista Clive Burr (R.I.P.). Este álbum fue certificado como platino por la Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), por ventas superiores a un millón de copias, en los Estados Unidos.
