Seguimos con la música de la década de los 70. Es a partir de este momento cuando sólo existe un gran contraste entre la música en inglés y la española o de lenguas derivadas del latín: que la canción melódica triunfa mucho más que en Estados Unidos o Reino Unido, a pesar de tener allí a nombres enormes como Tom Jones, quien ya ha disfrutado de muchos éxitos en el mundo entero.
