SHIRLEY MACLAINE, es una actriz, cantante, bailarina, escritora y activista estadounidense. Su labor profesional en el teatro, el cine y la televisión se ha extendido durante más de 60 años y le ha premiado con los reconocimientos más importantes de la industria cinematográfica. MacLaine es conocida por sus creencias en la nueva era, su interés por la espiritualidad y la reencarnación. Ha escrito varios trabajos autobiográficos describiendo su dogma, sus viajes en el extranjero y su carrera en Hollywood.

Ha tenido seis candidaturas al premio Óscar, ganándolo como mejor actriz por su interpretación en la comedia dramática La fuerza del cariño de 1982. He is one of the last living stars of classic Hollywood.
