ANN TODD (Hartford, Cheshire, 24 de enero de 1909.Londres, 6 de mayo de 1993) fue una actriz británica.

Biografía y carrera
Estudió en la St. Winifrid’s School de Eastbourne. Se hizo una popular actriz actuando en películas como Perfect Strangers (1945, en el papel de una enfermera) y The Seventh Veil (1945, como una pianista). Quizás es más conocida por su papel de esposa de Gregory Peck en la película de Alfred Hitchcock The Paradine Case (1947).

Además de su actividad como actriz, Todd produjo una serie de películas de viajes. También publicó una autobiografía titulada The Eighth Veil, una alusión al film que la convirtió en una estrella en el Reino Unido.

Ann Todd se casó en tres ocasiones. Su primer marido, Victor Malcolm, era nieto de Lillie Langtry. Sus otros dos maridos, Nigel Tangye y David Lean, eran primos carnales. Todd se casó con el director cinematográfico David Lean en 1949, trabajando en varias de sus películas, incluyendo The Passionate Friends (1949), Madeleine (1950) y The Sound Barrier (1952).

He studied at St. Winifrid’s School in Eastbourne. She became a popular actress acting in such films as Perfect Strangers (1945, as a nurse) and The Seventh Veil (1945, as a pianist). She is perhaps best known for her role as the wife of Gregory Peck in Alfred Hitchcock’s film The Paradine Case (1947).

In addition to her acting activity, Todd produced a number of travel films. She also published an autobiography titled The Eighth Veil, an allusion to the film that made her a star in the UK.

Ann Todd was married three times. Her first husband, Victor Malcolm, was the grandson of Lillie Langtry. Her other two husbands, Nigel Tangye and David Lean, were first cousins. Todd married film director David Lean in 1949, working on several of his films, including The Passionate Friends (1949), Madeleine (1950), and The Sound Barrier (1952).

Ann Todd died in 1993 in London (England) due to a stroke. He was 84 years old.
