Miguel Aceves Mej\u00eda (Chihuahua, 13 de noviembre de 1915 – Distrito Federal, 6 de noviembre de 20061\u200b) fue un cantante y actor mexicano, de la llamada \u00c9poca de Oro del cine mexicano, autor de temas vern\u00e1culos rancheros. Se le conoci\u00f3 con el apodo de \u00abEl Rey del Falsete\u00bb, \u00abEl Falsete de Oro\u00bb y \u00abEl cantante de oro<\/p>\r\n

Naci\u00f3 el 13 de noviembre de 1915 en El Paso Texas. Fue registrado el 13 de diciembre de 1915 en Chihuahua, Chihuahua. Sus padres Miguel Aceves y Herm\u00ednia Mej\u00eda deciden huir en el ferrocarril Kansas City M\u00e9xico y Oriente hacia El Paso, ya que estaba entrando Francisco Villa a la ciudad de Chihuahua con sus tropas. Miguel naci\u00f3 en Estados Unidos, pero fue registrado en M\u00e9xico, en Chihuahua, Chihuahua, el 13 de diciembre de 1915, por lo que conserv\u00f3 la ciudadan\u00eda estadounidense hasta que renunci\u00f3 a ella en 1939 debido al comienzo de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.<\/p>\r\n

Desde ni\u00f1o trabaj\u00f3 como bolero y vendiendo peri\u00f3dicos ya que su padre, don Miguel Aceves, falleci\u00f3 cuando \u00e9l ten\u00eda 4 a\u00f1os de edad, v\u00edctima de amigdalitis que le genera un ahogamiento dormido.<\/p>\r\n

Posteriormente trabaja como ayudante de mec\u00e1nico en la Ford Motor Company de Chihuahua. En su adolescencia, y a pesar de ser tartamudo, descubri\u00f3 su facilidad para el canto.<\/p>\r\n

Sus compa\u00f1eros lo alentaron a entrar a un concurso de canto que realizaba la Ford Motor Company, ya que se la pasaba cantando todo el tiempo y seg\u00fan dec\u00edan ellos “Cantaba muy bonito”.<\/p>\r\n

El primer premio era un contrato para trabajar en Monterrey en la XEB el buen tono. Ah\u00ed conoce a los que ser\u00edan sus compa\u00f1eros en el tr\u00edo Los Porte\u00f1os. Sus primeras presentaciones fueron en su ciudad natal, as\u00ed como en Monterrey y posteriormente en Los \u00c1ngeles donde grab\u00f3 su primer disco, con el tr\u00edo Los Porte\u00f1os. A pesar del \u00e9xito inmediato que ten\u00eda en Los \u00c1ngeles, les dice a sus compa\u00f1eros que su sue\u00f1o es regresar a M\u00e9xico, a la capital, para estar en la XEW, pero sus compa\u00f1eros desisten y deciden seguir por su cuenta, as\u00ed se despiden.<\/p>\r\n

Miguel Aceves Mej\u00eda (Chihuahua, November 13, 1915 – Federal District, November 6, 20061) was a Mexican singer and actor, of the so-called Golden Age of Mexican cinema, author of vernacular rancheros themes. He was known by the nicknames “El Rey del Falsete”, “El Falsete de Oro” and “El Singer de Oro”.<\/p>\r\n

He was born on November 13, 1915 in El Paso Texas. It was registered on December 13, 1915 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua. His parents Miguel Aceves and Herm\u00ednia Mej\u00eda decide to flee on the Kansas City M\u00e9xico y Oriente railroad towards El Paso, since Francisco Villa was entering the city of Chihuahua with his troops. Miguel was born in the United States, but was registered in Mexico, in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, on December 13, 1915, so he kept his US citizenship until he renounced it in 1939 due to the start of World War II.<\/p>\r\n

Since he was a child he worked as a bolero and selling newspapers since his father, Don Miguel Aceves, died when he was 4 years old, a victim of tonsillitis that caused him to drown in his sleep.<\/p>\r\n

Later he worked as a mechanic’s assistant at the Ford Motor Company in Chihuahua. In his adolescence, and despite being a stutterer, he discovered his facility for singing.<\/p>\r\n

His classmates encouraged him to enter a singing contest held by the Ford Motor Company, since he spent his time singing all the time and according to them “He sang very beautifully”.<\/p>\r\n

The first prize was a contract to work in Monterrey in the XEB the good tone. There he meets those who would be his companions in the Los Porte\u00f1os trio. His first presentations were in his hometown, as well as in Monterrey and later in Los Angeles where he recorded his first album, with the trio Los Porte\u00f1os. Despite the immediate success he had in Los Angeles, he tells his teammates that his dream is to return to Mexico, to the capital, to be at XEW, but his teammates give up and decide to continue on their own, so they say goodbye.<\/p>\r\n
