Miguel Bos\u00e9 es un cantante y m\u00fasico. Naci\u00f3 en Panam\u00e1, Rep\u00fablica de Panam\u00e1. Pero su nacionalidad es espa\u00f1ola. Su padre, Luis Miguel Domingu\u00edn, se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como torero, mientras que su madre, Luc\u00eda Bos\u00e9, era una reconocida actriz de origen italiano.<\/div>\n

Miguel fue criado en un entorno privilegiado, en donde tuvo acceso a la cultura y el arte. Desde muy peque\u00f1o, guiado por su madre, sinti\u00f3 un gran inter\u00e9s por la actuaci\u00f3n, de hecho, durante su vida realiz\u00f3 algunos papeles actorales. Aunque, luego cambi\u00f3 de opini\u00f3n desanimado porque sus esfuerzos no dieron prontos resultados. Por diversos motivos, a los catorce a\u00f1os de edad rechaz\u00f3 el papel del joven Tadzio que le hab\u00eda ofrecido su padrino el cineasta italiano Luchino Visconti dentro del reparto de su c\u00e9lebre Muerte en Venecia (1970).<\/div>\n

Estudi\u00f3 el bachillerato en el Liceo Franc\u00e9s de Madrid, all\u00ed desempe\u00f1\u00f3 sus primeros papeles cinematogr\u00e1ficos en algunas pel\u00edculas de poco reconocimiento y presupuesto, rodadas por el italiano Luccio Tessari. Al graduarse el joven decidi\u00f3 ubicar su residencia en Londres, donde empez\u00f3 a estudiar teatro y baile como alumno de la prestigiosa Escuela de Danza y Mimo de Lindsay Kemp. Realmente, Bos\u00e9 tuvo la oportunidad de estudiar en prestigiosos institutos gracias a la considerable fortuna y las buenas relaciones de sus padres. Tambi\u00e9n, tuvo la oportunidad de irse a Par\u00eds a estudiar arte dram\u00e1tico (en la Escuela de Danza de Maurice B\u00e9jart).<\/div>\n

Tambi\u00e9n estudi\u00f3 declamaci\u00f3n en Roma y baile y canto en Nueva York, donde lleg\u00f3 incluso a perfeccionar su formaci\u00f3n interpretativa en el prestigioso Actor\u2019s Studio. Estos viajes le permitieron conocer de cerca diversas culturas y tambi\u00e9n aprender de modo aceptable otros idiomas. Cuando volvi\u00f3 a Espa\u00f1a tom\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n de incursionar en la m\u00fasica, y en 1975 debut\u00f3 como cantante profesional con un modesto single titulado Soy, la producci\u00f3n y el lanzamiento estuvieron a cargo de uno de sus primeros descubridores, el vocalista Camilo Sesto. Pero, esta producci\u00f3n y la siguiente pasaron desapercibidas para el p\u00fablico y la cr\u00edtica.<\/div>\n

Fue en 1977, cuando Miguel Bos\u00e9 se convirti\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente en el \u00eddolo de las adolescentes de toda Espa\u00f1a al interpretar en castellano el tema Linda, de los italianos I Pooh. Este tema fue grabado y se volvi\u00f3 un \u00e9xito rotundo. Entonces, la canci\u00f3n dio t\u00edtulo tambi\u00e9n a su primer LP, lanz\u00f3 a Miguel Bos\u00e9 al estrellato y marc\u00f3 el estilo de sus primeros a\u00f1os en el camino de la m\u00fasica: caracterizada por las melod\u00edas dulces, amables y comerciales, en suma, algo que parec\u00eda muy atractivo era su sensual baile. Gracias a Linda tambi\u00e9n fue descrito como un sex-simbol de las adolescentes.<\/div>\n

Lanz\u00f3 su segundo LP bajo el t\u00edtulo de Miguel Bos\u00e9 (1978), debemos mencionar que Anna era su nuevo \u00e9xito comercial, el joven cantante rebas\u00f3 las fronteras del mercado espa\u00f1ol para ocupar las listas de \u00e9xitos en varios pa\u00edses europeos. Poco despu\u00e9s, Bos\u00e9 lanz\u00f3 \u201cChicas!\u201d (1979), y volvi\u00f3 a ocupar los primeros puestos en ventas con un tema de \u00e9xito arrollador: S\u00faper Superman. A partir de la d\u00e9cada de los ochenta se presenci\u00f3 un auge de int\u00e9rpretes masculinos que, intentaron aprovechar la fama de Bos\u00e9 para emerger. Aunque, muchos lo lograron era muy complejo estar a la altura de este cantante que se convirti\u00f3 en un fen\u00f3meno del panorama musical europeo.<\/div>\n

Cada vez que cantaba en diferentes idiomas en sus galas y presentaciones, sus discos ocupaban un espacio importante en el mundo. En sus giras multitudinarias deb\u00eda cantar muchos de sus temas c\u00e9lebres, por ejemplo: M\u00e1s all\u00e1 (1981), Bravo Muchachos (1982), Made in Spain (1983) y Milano Madrid (1983). Todos estos discos segu\u00edan conservando la frescura y la liviandad comercial del espa\u00f1ol y reafirmando su condici\u00f3n de sex-simbol. Bos\u00e9 decidi\u00f3 llevar a cabo un cambio dr\u00e1stico en su estilo musical y en su imagen El \u00e1lbum en que se plasm\u00f3 este giro, titulado Bandido (1984), cont\u00f3 con la colaboraci\u00f3n de letristas e instrumentistas. Su fama fue tal que el sello discogr\u00e1fico, Warner Music, reforz\u00f3 la nueva imagen de Miguel Bos\u00e9 con dos LP\u2019s, Salamandra (1986) y XXX (1987). Luego, lanz\u00f3 al mercado otro \u00e1lbum de gran \u00e9xito, llamado Los chicos no lloran (1990). Aunque sus discos eran buenos no alcanzaron la popularidad de los primeros \u00e9xitos. Bos\u00e9 realiz\u00f3 algunos trabajos en la gran pantalla. Estuvo en Tacones lejanos (1991) de Pedro Almod\u00f3var, lo que le permiti\u00f3 relanzar su carrera musical.<\/div>\n

Posteriormente, lanz\u00f3 Bajo el signo de Ca\u00edn (1994), disco donde aprovech\u00f3 los r\u00e9ditos materiales y art\u00edsticos de sus recientes triunfos cinematogr\u00e1ficos. Miguel Bos\u00e9 cont\u00f3 con la colaboraci\u00f3n de artistas flamencos, como los componentes del grupo Ketama. El mismo estilo se percibe en Laberinto (1995). Mientras estuvo inmiscuido en varios proyectos televisivos grab\u00f3 once grandes temas de la m\u00fasica latina, que salieron a la venta bajo el sugerente t\u00edtulo de Once maneras de ponerse el sombrero (1998).<\/div>\n

Bos\u00e9 dirigi\u00f3 S\u00e9ptimo de Caballer\u00eda, un programa emitido por Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola. El programa admiti\u00f3 todo tipo de artistas y estilos musicales, alternando las actuaciones con las entrevistas que Bos\u00e9 efectuaba a los diferentes cantantes y m\u00fasicos. En 1999 recibi\u00f3 el Premio de la M\u00fasica al Mejor Programa Televisivo, pero despu\u00e9s su programa empez\u00f3 a ser relegado por los telespectadores. Bos\u00e9, estuvo alejado del mundo de la fama por un fuerte accidente automovil\u00edstico ocurrido en tierras extreme\u00f1as.<\/div>\n

Tras la recuperaci\u00f3n, emprendi\u00f3 un nuevo proyecto art\u00edstico y profesional en el a\u00f1o 2000, cuando, la cantante Ana Torroja (ex vocalista de Mecano), le colabor\u00f3 en un largu\u00edsimo tour de conciertos por escenarios de toda Espa\u00f1a y numerosos lugares de Hispanoam\u00e9rica. Iniciando el siglo XXI, Bos\u00e9 lanz\u00f3 Sereno (2001), un \u00e1lbum m\u00e1s comercial, en el que dejaba testimonio de diferentes vivencias personales. Serrat, recibi\u00f3 el Premio Especial de la Industria Discogr\u00e1fica Espa\u00f1ola por su contribuci\u00f3n a la m\u00fasica, dentro de la gala de entrega de los Premios Amigo. Al a\u00f1o siguiente, por Sereno Grammy Latino 2002 al Mejor \u00c1lbum interpretado por un solista masculino.<\/div>\n

Lanz\u00f3 Por vos muero (2004), luego, Velvetina (2005), un trabajo musical cercano a los estilos musicales tan modernos y complejos como el dance, el trip hop y el chill out. El resultado fue un producto de atractiva calidad, el disco fue recibido con enorme \u00e9xito en numerosos pa\u00edses de Hispanoam\u00e9rica. Claramente, sus facetas de actor y presentador de televisi\u00f3n han contribuido tambi\u00e9n a reforzar sus \u00e9xitos musicales. El cantante asegur\u00f3 que luego del nacimiento de sus \u00faltimos dos hijos en el 2011, Diego y Tadeo, decidi\u00f3 dejar de lado la vida de excesos perjudiciales: alcohol y cigarrillo. Aunque, asegur\u00f3 que nunca fue irresponsable con su carrera por estas adicciones.<\/div>\n

Miguel Bos\u00e9 is a singer and musician. He was born in Panama, Republic of Panama. But his nationality is Spanish. His father, Luis Miguel Domingu\u00edn, worked as a bullfighter, while his mother, Luc\u00eda Bos\u00e9, was a renowned actress of Italian origin.<\/p>\n

Miguel was raised in a privileged environment, where he had access to culture and art. From a very young age, guided by his mother, he felt a great interest in acting, in fact, during his life he performed some acting roles. Although, he later changed his mind discouraged because his efforts did not give prompt results. For various reasons, at the age of fourteen he rejected the role of the young Tadzio that his godfather, the Italian filmmaker Luchino Visconti, had offered him within the cast of his famous Death in Venice (1970).<\/p>\n

He studied high school at the French Lyceum in Madrid, there he played his first film roles in some films of little recognition and budget, shot by the Italian Luccio Tessari. Upon graduation, the young man decided to locate his residence in London, where he began to study theater and dance as a student at the prestigious Lindsay Kemp School of Dance and Mime. Actually, Bos\u00e9 had the opportunity to study in prestigious institutes thanks to the considerable fortune and good relations of his parents. Also, he had the opportunity to go to Paris to study dramatic art (at the Maurice B\u00e9jart School of Dance).<\/p>\n

He also studied declamation in Rome and dancing and singing in New York, where he even perfected his acting training at the prestigious Actor’s Studio. These trips allowed him to get to know different cultures up close and also to learn other languages \u200b\u200bin an acceptable way. When he returned to Spain he made the decision to venture into music, and in 1975 he debuted as a professional singer with a modest single entitled Soy, the production and release were in charge of one of his first discoverers, the vocalist Camilo Sesto. But, this production and the following went unnoticed by the public and the critics.<\/p>\n

It was in 1977, when Miguel Bos\u00e9 quickly became the idol of adolescent girls throughout Spain when he interpreted the song Linda, by the Italians I Pooh, in Spanish. This theme was recorded and became a resounding success. Then, the song also gave title to his first LP, launched Miguel Bos\u00e9 to stardom and marked the style of his first years on the path of music: characterized by sweet, friendly and commercial melodies, in short, something that seemed very attractive was her sensual dance. Thanks to Linda it was also described as a sex-symbol of teenage girls.<\/p>\n

He released his second LP under the title of Miguel Bos\u00e9 (1978), we must mention that Anna was his new commercial success, the young singer crossed the borders of the Spanish market to occupy the charts in several European countries. Shortly after, Bos\u00e9 released \u201cChicas!\u201d (1979), and returned to occupy the first positions in sales with a theme of overwhelming success: Super Superman. Starting in the 1980s, there was a boom in male performers who tried to take advantage of Bos\u00e9’s fame to emerge. Although many succeeded, it was very complex to live up to this singer who became a phenomenon on the European music scene.<\/p>\n

Every time he sang in different languages \u200b\u200bin his galas and presentations, his albums occupied an important space in the world. In his massive tours he had to sing many of his famous songs, for example: M\u00e1s t\u00fa (1981), Bravo Muchachos (1982), Made in Spain (1983) and Milano Madrid (1983). All these albums continued to preserve the freshness and commercial lightness of Spanish and reaffirmed its status as a sex symbol. Bos\u00e9 decided to carry out a drastic change in his musical style and in his image. The album in which this change took shape, titled Bandido (1984), had the collaboration of lyricists and instrumentalists. His fame was such that the record label, Warner Music, reinforced Miguel Bos\u00e9’s new image with two LPs, Salamandra (1986) and XXX (1987). Later, he released another highly successful album, called The Boys Don’t Cry (1990). Although his records were good, they did not reach the popularity of the first hits. Bos\u00e9 did some work on the big screen. He was in Pedro Almod\u00f3var’s High Heels (1991), which allowed him to relaunch his musical career.<\/p>\n

Later, he released Bajo el signo de Ca\u00edn (1994), an album where he took advantage of the material and artistic returns of his recent cinematographic triumphs. Miguel Bos\u00e9 had the collaboration of flamenco artists, such as the members of the Ketama group. The same style is perceived in Labyrinth (1995). While involved in several television projects, he recorded eleven great Latin music songs, which were released under the suggestive title of Once ways to put on the hat (1998).<\/p>\n

Bos\u00e9 directed S\u00e9ptimo de Caballer\u00eda, a program broadcast by Spanish Television. The program admitted all kinds of artists and musical styles, alternating the performances with the interviews that Bos\u00e9 conducted with the different singers and musicians. In 1999 he received the Music Award for Best Television Program, but later his program began to be relegated by viewers. Bos\u00e9, was away from the world of fame due to a strong car accident that occurred in Extremadura.<\/p>\n

After his recovery, he undertook a new artistic and professional project in the year 2000, when the singer Ana Torroja (ex-vocalist of Mecano), collaborated with him on a very long tour of concerts on stages throughout Spain and numerous places in Latin America. Starting the 21st century, Bos\u00e9 released Sereno (2001), a more commercial album, in which he left testimony of different personal experiences. Serrat received the Special Award from the Spanish Recording Industry for his contribution to music, within the Amigo Awards ceremony. The following year, for Sereno Latin Grammy 2002 for Best Album performed by a male soloist.<\/p>\n

He released Por vos muero (2004), then Velvetina (2005), a musical work close to such modern and complex musical styles as dance, trip hop and chill out. The result was a product of attractive quality, the disc was received with enormous success in numerous Latin American countries. Clearly, his facets as an actor and television presenter have also contributed to reinforcing his musical successes. The singer assured that after the birth of his last two children in 2011, Diego and Tadeo, he decided to put aside the life of harmful excesses: alcohol and cigarettes. Although, he assured that he was never irresponsible with his career due to these addictions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
