Olivia record\u00f3 que Paul McCartney pose\u00eda una villa en Hollywood Hills, Los \u00c1ngeles, y este se la ofreci\u00f3 de inmediato. All\u00ed fue donde finalmente falleci\u00f3, el 29 de noviembre de 2001, a la edad de 58 a\u00f1os. Su muerte fue atribuida al c\u00e1ncer de pulm\u00f3n que padec\u00eda y sus met\u00e1stasis. He was a multi-instrumentalist musician, songwriter, singer-songwriter, music producer, film producer, actor, philanthropist, peace activist, environmentalist, guitarist and singer for the British rock band The Beatles. Although John Lennon and Paul McCartney were the main songwriters within the group, Harrison also included his own compositions on The Beatles records. Harrison’s earliest musical influences included such musicians as Big Bill Broonzy, Chet Atkins, Chuck Berry, Ry Cooder, and Buddy Holly.<\/div>\n

Following the dissolution of The Beatles, Harrison released All Things Must Pass (1970), the first solo Beatle album to hit the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart. This album featured several musicians, including Ringo Starr on drums and Eric Clapton on guitar.<\/div>\n

Olivia recalled that Paul McCartney owned a villa in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, and he immediately offered it to her. It was there that he finally passed away, on November 29, 2001, at the age of 58. His death was attributed to the lung cancer he suffered and its metastases. He was later cremated, and although some media claimed that his ashes had been deposited in the Ganges River, there has been no family statement to certify it.<\/div>\n
