Es un m\u00fasico estadounidense, conocido mundialmente por ser el baterista de la banda de rock Vanilla Fudge. Es adem\u00e1s hermano del tambi\u00e9n baterista Vinny Appice. Es el autor del libro de m\u00e9todo de aprendizaje de bater\u00eda Realistic Rock, incluyendo Realistic Rock For Kids.<\/div>\n

He is an American musician, known worldwide for being the drummer for the rock band Vanilla Fudge. He is also the brother of fellow drummer Vinny Appice. He is the author of the Realistic Rock Drum Learning Method book, including Realistic Rock For Kids.<\/div>\n

During the second half of the 1960s he was part of the Vanilla Fudge group. After five record jobs the group disbanded, and Appice formed the blues rock quartet Cactus, along with his Vanilla Fudge partner Tim Bogert, vocalist Rusty Day, and guitarist Jim McCarty. Appice and Bogert leave Cactus to join guitarist Jeff Beck and form the power trio Beck, Bogert & Appice.<\/div>\n
