Es un cantante, instrumentista (especialmente, teclista y guitarrista) y compositor brit\u00e1nico de blues y pop-rock. Precursor de la invasi\u00f3n del blues ingl\u00e9s junto con Alexis Korner.<\/div>\n

En 1955 fund\u00f3 su primer grupo, The Powerhouse Four, y posteriormente su m\u00e1s famosa banda: The Bluesbreakers, en la que cont\u00f3 con la colaboraci\u00f3n de guitarristas como Eric Clapton, Peter Green y Mick Taylor. Su banda fue la alma mater de diversas formaciones posteriores. Despu\u00e9s de grabar con Green el disco A hard road, Green se marcha para formar Fleetwood Mac. Seg\u00fan el propio Mayall: “Un d\u00eda, ten\u00edamos un concierto y no ten\u00edamos guitarrista, entonces apareci\u00f3 Mick Taylor”. Mayall qued\u00f3 alucinado con el joven guitarrista, pero termin\u00f3 el concierto y Taylor se march\u00f3. John lo busc\u00f3 por todos lados, hasta que consigui\u00f3 localizar a Taylor y le ofreci\u00f3 el puesto de guitarra en su banda.<\/div>\n

He is a British blues and pop-rock singer, instrumentalist (particularly keyboardist and guitarist) and composer. Forerunner of the invasion of English blues along with Alexis Korner.<\/p>\n

In 1955 he founded his first group, The Powerhouse Four, and later his most famous band: The Bluesbreakers, in which he had the collaboration of guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor. His band was the alma mater of various subsequent formations. Mick Fleetwood and John McVie were part of the band and participated in the recording of A hard road, along with guitarist Peter Green, forming, after leaving the Bluesbreakers, Fleetwood Mac.<\/p>\n

The Bluesbreakers managed to make great records in the 1960s, like the famous Bluesbreakers album, whose cover features Eric Clapton flipping through a copy of the Beano comic.<\/p>\n

After Clapton left to form the blues-rock trio Cream, Mayall would look for a new guitarist, Peter Green. After recording the album A hard road with Green, Green left to form Fleetwood Mac. According to Mayall himself: “One day, we had a concert and we didn’t have a guitarist, then Mick Taylor appeared.” Mayall was amazed at the young guitarist, but the concert ended and Taylor left. John looked for him everywhere, until he managed to locate Taylor and offered him the position of guitar in his band.<\/p>\n

He and Taylor would record together the legendary Crusade, where Taylor shines with his own light, and in 1969, the psychedelic Bare Wires. Taylor would later go on to replace Brian Jones in the Rolling Stones.<\/p>\n
