Libertad Lamarque (Rosario, Provincia de Santa Fe, Argentina, 24 de noviembre de 19081\u200b – Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, 12 de diciembre de 2000) fue una actriz y cantante argentina que vivi\u00f3 gran parte de su vida en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

Sus inicios en la actuaci\u00f3n ocurrieron a la edad de siete a\u00f1os en obras vinculadas a la militancia anarquista de su padre.<\/p>\n

En 1924, instalada en Buenos Aires, fue contratada para actuar en el Teatro El Nacional y grabar discos con la compa\u00f1\u00eda RCA V\u00edctor, convirti\u00e9ndose en una de las primeras cantantes de tango surgidas en la d\u00e9cada de 1920 que crearon la modalidad vocal femenina en el rubro. Su debut en cine ocurri\u00f3 en 1930 cuando protagoniz\u00f3 un filme mudo, Adi\u00f3s, Argentina, de Mario Parpagnoli, mientras que en 1933 intervino en la primera pel\u00edcula sonora argentina, \u00a1Tango!, junto a Tita Merello.\u200b Calificada como \u00abla reina del tango\u00bb, al a\u00f1o siguiente fue elegida \u00abMiss Radio\u00bb por votaci\u00f3n popular en la revista Sinton\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Su consagraci\u00f3n como actriz melodram\u00e1tica ocurri\u00f3 luego de que protagonizara El alma del bandone\u00f3n (1935), tras la cual fue contratada por Jos\u00e9 A. His beginnings in acting occurred at the age of seven in works linked to his father’s anarchist militancy.<\/p>\n

In 1924, settled in Buenos Aires, she was hired to perform at the El Nacional Theater and record albums with the RCA V\u00edctor company, becoming one of the first tango singers to emerge in the 1920s who created the female vocal modality in the field. .
