Activo como m\u00fasico de sesi\u00f3n desde fines de los a\u00f1os 1950 hasta su muerte, ganando en los siguientes a\u00f1os de 1960 despu\u00e9s de la liberaci\u00f3n de su \u00e1lbum Gris-Gris en el Bath Festival de Blues y M\u00fasica Progresiva. Se present\u00f3 en un animado espect\u00e1culo inspirado en la medicina. Las costumbres de Mardi Gras y ceremonias de vud\u00fa. Rebennack grab\u00f3 32 \u00e1lbumes de estudio y seis \u00e1lbumes en vivo, y tambi\u00e9n contribuy\u00f3 con otros cientos de m\u00fasicos en sus grabaciones. Active as a session musician from the late 1950s until his death, winning in the following 1960s after the release of his album Gris-Gris at the Bath Festival of Blues and Progressive Music. He performed in a lively, medicine-inspired show. Mardi Gras customs and voodoo ceremonies. Rebennack recorded 32 studio albums and six live albums, and also contributed hundreds of other musicians to his recordings. In 1973 he had a Top 10 with the Right Place single, Wrong Time.<\/div>\n

Winner of six Grammy Awards. Rebennack was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by singer John Legend in March 2011. In May 2013, Rebennack received an Honorary doctorate of fine arts from Tulane University.<\/div>\n
