Yordano o Giordano Di Marzo comienza su carrera como m\u00fasico y compositor durante la d\u00e9cada de los setenta, pero no es sino hasta 1979 cuando su primera incursi\u00f3n en los estudios llega al p\u00fablico en forma de disco. Junto al grupo Sietecuero, integrado tambi\u00e9n por su hermano Evio, Alberto Slezinger y otros talentosos m\u00fasicos, edita un disco bajo el sello Velvet en el cual ya se notaba su vocaci\u00f3n por mezclar de forma natural elementos de sonidos el\u00e9ctricos y ac\u00fasticos que, provenientes de diversas latitudes, influenciaban al compositor.<\/div>\n

Desde comienzos de su carrera Yordano dej\u00f3 colar en su trabajo influencias del pop ingl\u00e9s, de g\u00e9neros caribe\u00f1os como el son cubano, el bolero y hasta de la balada de ra\u00edces italianas, logrando un compendio que unido a su talento innato de compositor sensible y urbano forj\u00f3 un estilo \u00fanico que a\u00fan hoy lo identifica.<\/div>\n

En los a\u00f1os ochenta, con la ayuda de los m\u00fasicos que integraron la Secci\u00f3n R\u00edtmica de Caracas y, m\u00e1s tarde, acompa\u00f1ado del grupo Ladrones de Sombras, Yordano sac\u00f3 filo a su sonido convirti\u00e9ndose en el cronista de Caracas a trav\u00e9s de canciones universales que se convirtieron en enormes \u00e9xitos masivos de la m\u00fasica popular contempor\u00e1nea hecha en Venezuela.<\/div>\n

Con la llegada de los noventa Yordano alcanz\u00f3 notoriedad mediante hits de radio, tanto originales como versiones libres de grandes \u00e9xitos mundiales. Luego de un cambio de disquera a mediados de esa d\u00e9cada, compuso y produjo dos \u00e1lbumes de tono m\u00e1s \u00edntimo y minimalista que los que hab\u00eda presentado en la etapa previa de su trayectoria. En diciembre de 1998, luego de romper lazos con Sony Music, se lanza a la aventura independiente sacando a la calle, noches de luna-Yordano en concierto\u00ee, disco doble con los mayores \u00e9xitos del artista registrados en vivo.<\/div>\n

Un par de a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s saca qu\u00e9 lindas son, un compendio de canciones del Caribe como frenes\u00ed, \u00bfC\u00f3mo fue y “Te quiero dijiste”, impulsan al artista por derroteros distintos, la pasi\u00f3n en blanco y negro, el suave perfume de temas venerados por los amantes y mel\u00f3manos, en un homenaje a personajes como Barbarito Diez, Benny Mor\u00e9, Bola de Nieve y muchos m\u00e1s.<\/div>\n

Yordano reaparece en 2002 con un excelente \u00e1lbum – trece canciones nuevas, totalmente in\u00e9ditas, “Secretos de la noche”.<\/div>\n

Yordano es un artista con los pies fuertemente afirmados en la tierra donde vive desde sus tres a\u00f1os de edad, en \u00e9l se adivinan las mismas influencias que definen este pa\u00eds: desde la m\u00fasica italiana y los danzones del Caribe, pasando por el rhythm and blues y Los Beatles, desde Marvin Gaye hasta Barbarito Diez, pasando por Willie Col\u00f3n y, de nuevo, llegando y deteni\u00e9ndose en Yordano.<\/div>\n

Yordano or Giordano Di Marzo began his career as a musician and composer during the seventies, but it was not until 1979 that his first foray into the studios reached the public in the form of an album. Together with the Sietecuero group, also made up of his brother Evio, Alberto Slezinger and other talented musicians, he publishes an album under the Velvet label in which his vocation for naturally mixing elements of electric and acoustic sounds that, coming from various latitudes, influenced the composer.<\/div>\n

From the beginning of his career, Yordano allowed influences from English pop, Caribbean genres such as Cuban son, bolero and even the ballad with Italian roots to creep into his work, achieving a compendium that, together with his innate talent as a sensitive and urban composer, forged a unique style that still identifies it today.<\/div>\n

In the eighties, with the help of the musicians who made up the Caracas Rhythmic Section and, later, accompanied by the group Ladrones de Sombras, Yordano sharpened his sound by becoming the chronicler of Caracas through universal songs that became in huge massive hits of contemporary popular music made in Venezuela.<\/div>\n

With the arrival of the nineties, Yordano achieved notoriety through radio hits, both original and free versions of great world hits. After a label change in the middle of that decade, he composed and produced two albums of a more intimate and minimalist tone than those he had presented in the previous stage of his career.In December 1998, after breaking ties with Sony Music, he launches into the independent adventure taking to the streets, \u00ecNights of the moon-Yordano in concert\u00ee, a double album with the artist’s greatest hits recorded live.<\/div>\n

A couple of years later he released \u00ecQu\u00e9 cute son\u00ee, a compendium of Caribbean songs such as \u00ecFrenes\u00ed\u00ee, \u00ecHow it was\u00ee and “I love you dijiste”. lovers and music lovers, in a tribute to characters such as Barbarito Diez, Benny Mor\u00e9, Bola de Nieve and many more.<\/div>\n
