Ten\u00eda proyectado retornar nuevamente a la m\u00fasica para el nuevo milenio.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Falleci\u00f3 en la Cl\u00ednica Anderson de Madrid, donde estaba ingresado a consecuencia de un c\u00e1ncer. Estuvo casado con la actriz Pilar Vel\u00e1zquez.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Su carrera discogr\u00e1fica comienza como compositor de otros artistas. Como cantante, sus primeros dos sencillos los lanz\u00f3 bajo el nombre &#8220;Eddy Gallardo&#8221; en 1972 y 1973, respectivamente. En 1973 lanza otros dos sencillos m\u00e1s, esta vez con el nombre &#8220;Miguel Gallardo&#8221;, el cual utilizar\u00eda el resto de su carrera. Durante 1974 lanza primeros sencillos que destacaron en el mercado, &#8220;Recordando a Glenn&#8221; y &#8220;Qu\u00e9date&#8221;, canci\u00f3n inspirada en el poema &#8220;Farewell&#8221; de Pablo Neruda con la que logra su primer n\u00famero uno en Espa\u00f1a.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">En 1975 lanza su primer gran \u00e9xito: &#8220;Hoy tengo ganas de ti&#8221; y luego, en este mismo a\u00f1o, lanza su primer \u00e1lbum &#8220;Autorretrato&#8221; convirti\u00e9ndose en el primer artista espa\u00f1ol en ser distribuido por el prestigioso sello EMI-Harvest.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">A partir de este momento se consolida en el mercado hispanoamericano. Temas como &#8220;Hoy tengo ganas de ti&#8221;, con la cual ha alcanzado m\u00e1s de dos millones en ventas y que ha sido versionada en otras lenguas como: franc\u00e9s, ingl\u00e9s, portugu\u00e9s, chino, finland\u00e9s, griego, y otros como: &#8220;Otro ocupa mi lugar&#8221;, &#8220;Gorri\u00f3n&#8221;, &#8220;Y t\u00fa d\u00f3nde est\u00e1s&#8221;, &#8220;Saldr\u00e9 a buscar el amor&#8221;, &#8220;Y apago la luz&#8221;, ratifican su \u00e9xito.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">En la d\u00e9cada de los 80&#8217;s lanz\u00f3 varios \u00e1lbumes que alcanzaron discos de oro y platino en la mayor\u00eda de pa\u00edses de habla hispana. Destacan canciones como &#8220;Coraz\u00f3n&#8221;, &#8220;Tu amante o tu enemigo&#8221;, &#8220;Muchachita&#8221; y &#8220;Coraz\u00f3n viajero&#8221;.
