Con doce a\u00f1os se compr\u00f3 su primera guitarra el\u00e9ctrico y comenz\u00f3 a tocar en 1980 en un grupo llamado &#8220;Apocalipsis&#8221;. Posteriormente milit\u00f3 en la banda &#8220;Rebel Waltz&#8221;, en la que tocaba la bater\u00eda y pon\u00eda la voz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde 1984 form\u00f3 parte de varios grupos m\u00e1s, como &#8220;Proceso Entr\u00f3pico&#8221;, &#8220;La Censura De Los Cuentos&#8221; o &#8220;Tres A\u00f1os De Pena&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A pesar de esta dilatada carrera y el baile de grupos, la fama de Enrique Bunbury no ser\u00eda del todo reconocida hasta que en 1987 se forman los &#8216;H\u00e9roes del Silencio&#8217;, junto a Juan Valdivia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Su inconformismo y su insaciable af\u00e1n de b\u00fasqueda, le llevaron a emprender largos viajes, (independientes a los obligados por sus giras con la banda), a trav\u00e9s de su idolatrado planeta. As\u00ed, entusiasmado por sus lecturas orientalistas, visita un par de veces la India y otras tantas Nepal. M\u00e1s tarde, y a trav\u00e9s de Castaneda descubre el M\u00e9xico profundo y la Am\u00e9rica cham\u00e1nica, viajando a Chiapas, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Yucat\u00e1n, Guatemala y Belice. Tampoco Cuba se le resiste, esta vez guiado por la magia santera. Su \u00faltimo gran descubrimiento (que plasma de forma sonora en su \u00faltimo \u00e1lbum) es el mundo \u00e1rabe, el oriente m\u00e1s pr\u00f3ximo. Durante el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o pisa cuatro veces suelo marroqu\u00ed, viaja a T\u00fanez y recuerda su paso por Jordania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">M\u00fasico autodidacta, en todos estos viajes va adquiriendo instrumentos aut\u00f3ctonos. En Benar\u00e9s aprende a tocar el sitar, en Marrakech la sirga bereber y en Cuba los bongos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 1992 Enrique Bunbury produce el CD &#8220;Sue\u00f1os En Blanco Y Negro&#8221; del grupo zaragozano Las Novias. En 1993 colabora en los coros del CD &#8220;El Cielo Lo Sabe&#8221; de Distrito 14. En 1994 crea el sello independiente &#8220;A La Inversa Records&#8221;. Esta compa\u00f1\u00eda discogr\u00e1fica edit\u00f3 los discos: &#8220;Todo\/Nada Sigue Igual&#8221; del grupo zaragozano Las Novias (co-propietarios del sello) y el disco recopilatorio &#8220;Zaragoza Vive&#8221; con 22 bandas zaragozanas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 1996 edita, dirige y escribe en la revista monogr\u00e1fica independiente &#8220;Avalancha Magazine&#8221; y colabora en un par de libros sobre H\u00e9roes Del Silencio<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despu\u00e9s de la ruptura de H\u00e9roes del Silencio, Enrique Bunbury empez\u00f3 su carrera como solista, editando &#8220;Radical Sonora&#8221;, en 1997. Dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s public\u00f3 &#8220;Peque\u00f1o&#8221; y en el 2000 &#8220;Peque\u00f1o Cabaret Ambulante&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el 2002 publica un nuevo trabajo, titulado &#8220;Flamingos&#8221;. &#8220;Flamingos&#8221; recobra el gusto por las guitarras, estrena giros a lo Bowie en el primer single, &#8220;Lady Blue&#8221;, y ahonda en la electr\u00f3nica, los sonidos latinoamericanos, el rock and roll, el jazz, el honky tonk o los ritmos de Nueva Orleans. Un \u00e1lbum variado y redondo de un artista v\u00edctima de una arrolladora inquietud musical.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 2008, Enrique Bunbury publica &#8220;Hellville de Luxe&#8221;. &#8216;Hellville de Luxe&#8217; el nombre de la casa-estudio que el cantante zaragozano tiene en el Puerto de Santa Mar\u00eda, ha servido para bautizar este trabajo discogr\u00e1fico, tras cuatro a\u00f1os sin publicar material nuevo en solitario. Producido por Phil Manzanera, el disco ha sido grabado en Gerona y masterizado en Nueva York, y supone la vuelta de Bunbury al sonido rock que le convirti\u00f3 en una estrella.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 2011 Bunbury publica un doble CD recopilatorio, titulado &#8220;Gran Rex&#8221;, en el que el artista hace un largo repaso a su trayectoria musical. El \u00e1lbum fue grabado durante los tres conciertos que Bunbury y los Santos Inocentes dieron en el &#8220;Gran Rex&#8221; de Buenos Aires en noviembre de 2010, durante la gira americana de su \u00e1lbum &#8220;Las Consecuencias&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3n\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\"><strong>Date of Birth:<\/strong> August 11, 1968<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ENRIQUE BUNBURY, whose real name is Enrique Ortiz de Land\u00e1zuri Izardui, was born on August 11, 1968 (he is 52 years old). At the age of twelve he bought his first electric guitar and began playing in 1980 in a group called &#8220;Apocalypse&#8221;. Later he was a member of the band &#8220;Rebel Waltz&#8221;, in which he played the drums and provided the voice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since 1984 he was part of several other groups, such as &#8220;Proceso Entr\u00f3pico&#8221;, &#8220;La Censura De Los Cuentos&#8221; or &#8220;Tres a\u00f1os de Pena&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despite this long career and group dancing, Enrique Bunbury&#8217;s fame would not be fully recognized until the &#8216;H\u00e9roes del Silencio&#8217; was formed in 1987, together with Juan Valdivia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">His non conformity and his insatiable desire to search, led him to undertake long trips, (independent of those forced by his tours with the band), through his idolized planet. Thus, enthusiastic about his orientalist readings, he visits India a couple of times and Nepal as many times. Later, and through Castaneda, he discovers deep Mexico and shamanic America, traveling to Chiapas, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Yucat\u00e1n, Guatemala and Belize. Nor does Cuba resist him, this time guided by the magic of Santera. His last great discovery (which he expresses in a sound way in his latest album) is the Arab world, the nearest east. During the last year, he has stepped on Moroccan soil four times, traveled to Tunisia and remembers his time in Jordan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Self-taught musician, in all these trips he adquires native instruments. In Benares he learned to play the sitar, in Marrakech the Berber sirga and in Cuba the bongos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1992 Enrique Bunbury produced the CD &#8220;Sue\u00f1os En Blanco Y Negro&#8221; by the Zaragoza group Las Novias. In 1993 he collaborated in the choirs of the CD &#8220;El Cielo Lo Sabe&#8221; of District 14. In 1994 he created the independent label &#8220;A La Inversa Records&#8221;. This record company released the records: &#8220;Todo \/ Nada Sigue Igual&#8221; by the Zaragoza group Las Novias (co-owners of the label) and the compilation album &#8220;Zaragoza Vive&#8221; with 22 bands from Zaragoza.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1996 he edited, directed and wrote for the independent monographic magazine &#8220;Avalancha Magazine&#8221; and collaborated on a couple of books on H\u00e9roes Del Silencio<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the breakup of H\u00e9roes del Silencio, Enrique Bunbury began his career as a soloist, editing &#8220;Radical Sonora&#8221; in 1997. Two years later he published &#8220;Pequeno&#8221; and in 2000 &#8220;Pequeno Cabaret Ambulante&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2002 he published a new work, entitled &#8220;Flamingos&#8221;. &#8220;Flamingos&#8221; regains a taste for guitars, premieres Bowie twists in the first single, &#8220;Lady Blue&#8221;, and delves into electronics, Latin American sounds, rock and roll, jazz, honky tonk or the rhythms of New Orleans. A varied and round album by an artist victim of an overwhelming musical restlessness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2008, Enrique Bunbury publishes &#8220;Hellville de Luxe&#8221;. &#8216;Hellville de Luxe&#8217;, the name of the house-studio that the singer from Zaragoza has in Puerto de Santa Mar\u00eda, has served to baptize this album, after four years without publishing new solo material. Produced by Phil Manzanera, the album has been recorded in Gerona and mastered in New York, and represents Bunbury&#8217;s return to the rock sound that made him a star.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2011 Bunbury publishes a double compilation CD, entitled &#8220;Gran Rex&#8221;, in which the artist makes a long review of his musical career.
