Es un cantante de m\u00fasica popular venezolana<\/p>\n

El int\u00e9rprete de \u201cEl Ladr\u00f3n de tu Amor\u201d y \u201cMar\u00eda Antonia\u201d, parec\u00eda no tener otro destino que la m\u00fasica. Su abuela fue bandolinista y su abuelo fabricaba instrumentos musicales. A temprana edad aprendi\u00f3 por s\u00ed mismo a cantar. En 1973 se present\u00f3 por primera vez en el Aula Magna de la UCV. Fue el punto de partida, ha grabado alrededor de 15 discos. Es promotor de g\u00e9neros aut\u00f3ctonos como el galer\u00f3n, la jota margarite\u00f1a y carupanera, los polos margarite\u00f1os, la gaita y la malague\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Born in El Pilar, Sucre state, on July 12, 1947, the interpreter of \u201cEl Ladr\u00f3n de tu Amor\u201d and \u201cMar\u00eda Antonia\u201d seemed to have no other destiny than music. His grandmother was a bandolinist and his grandfather made musical instruments. At an early age he taught himself to sing. In 1973 it was presented for the first time in the Aula Magna of the UCV. It was the starting point, he has recorded around 15 albums. He is a promoter of native genres such as the galer\u00f3n, the jota margarite\u00f1a and carupanera, the poles margarite\u00f1os, the bagpipe and the malague\u00f1a.<\/p>\n
