Mar\u00eda del Pilar Cuesta Acosta, m\u00e1s conocida por su nombre art\u00edstico ANA BEL\u00c9N, es una cantante y actriz espa\u00f1ola. En su larga trayectoria art\u00edstica cuenta con m\u00e1s de cuarenta pel\u00edculas, unas treinta obras de teatro y m\u00e1s de treinta y cinco discos. Ha sido nominada en dos ocasiones al Grammy Latino y ha conseguido el Premio Grammy Latino a la excelencia musical en 2015 y el Premio Goya de Honor en 2017. Est\u00e1 casada con el cantautor asturiano V\u00edctor Manuel, su pareja art\u00edstica en muchas ocasiones.<\/div>\n

Fue la mayor del matrimonio formado por Pilar Acosta, que regentaba una porter\u00eda y de Ferm\u00edn Cuesta, cocinero del Hotel Palace.<\/div>\n

En 1961 debut\u00f3 en un programa de Radio Espa\u00f1a, Vale todo, presentado por Bobby Deglan\u00e9 y en el que ya dio muestras de saber estar sobre un escenario. En 1964, a\u00f1o en que grab\u00f3 sus primeras canciones, ya era conocida en las emisoras musicales como nueva ni\u00f1a prodigio. De ese primer sencillo, la canci\u00f3n m\u00e1s promocionada fue \u00abQu\u00e9 dif\u00edcil es tener 18 a\u00f1os\u00bb.<\/div>\n

Tras firmar un contrato con la productora \u00c9poca Films, con trece a\u00f1os protagoniz\u00f3 la pel\u00edcula Zampo y yo, dirigida por Luis Luc\u00eda, y de cuya protagonista tom\u00f3 el nombre art\u00edstico.<\/div>\n

Despu\u00e9s del fracaso de la pel\u00edcula, el reconocido director teatral Miguel Narros, que se hab\u00eda fijado en ella durante el rodaje de la pel\u00edcula, la anim\u00f3 a formarse y emprender una carrera como actriz teatral. A los quince a\u00f1os debut\u00f3 en el Teatro Espa\u00f1ol, cuyo director era Narros, con la obra Numancia de Miguel de Cervantes. Hasta 1970 form\u00f3 parte de la compa\u00f1\u00eda del Teatro Espa\u00f1ol e intervino en obras como Las mujeres sabias, El rey Lear y Don Juan Tenorio y con compa\u00f1eros de reparto como Agust\u00edn Gonz\u00e1lez, Mar\u00eda Luisa Ponte, Julieta Serrano y Berta Riaza, con los que hizo sus primeras giras por Espa\u00f1a.<\/div>\n

A partir de 1970 comenz\u00f3 a desarrollar una intensa carrera teatral, musical, cinematogr\u00e1fica y televisiva, siendo considerada una de las principales figuras del momento.<\/div>\n

Mar\u00eda del Pilar Cuesta Acosta, better known by her stage name ANA BEL\u00c9N (Madrid, May 27, 1951) is a Spanish singer and actress. In his long artistic career, he has made more than forty films, some thirty plays and more than thirty-five records. She has been nominated twice for the Latin Grammy and has obtained the Latin Grammy Award for musical excellence in 2015 and the Goya de Honor Award in 2017. She is married to the Asturian singer-songwriter V\u00edctor Manuel, her artistic partner on many occasions.<\/div>\n

She was the eldest of the marriage formed by Pilar Acosta, who ran a goal, and Ferm\u00edn Cuesta, cook at the Hotel Palace.<\/div>\n
