Biografia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Es el tercer hijo del cantante\u00a0Julio Iglesias\u00a0y de la ex-modelo filipina Isabel Preysler.<\/p>\n

Sus padres se divorciaron cuando ten\u00eda tres a\u00f1os y cuando cumpli\u00f3 ocho su madre lo envi\u00f3 a Miami a vivir con su padre. Aunque los veranos los pasaba en Espa\u00f1a, su imagen se correspond\u00eda m\u00e1s con la de un t\u00edpico joven de Miami montando jet-skis o haciendo windsurf. Lo que no sab\u00eda su familia es que Enrique estaba escribiendo canciones y so\u00f1ando con ser una estrella. Despu\u00e9s de estudiar administraci\u00f3n de empresas en la Universidad de Miami, decidi\u00f3 seguir su pasi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En 1995 trat\u00f3 de conseguir un contrato discogr\u00e1fico como cantante bajo otro nombre. Cuando lo consigui\u00f3 fue el momento de hablar de sus aspiraciones a sus padres. Luego vol\u00f3 a Toronto, Canad\u00e1, donde nadie lo conoc\u00eda, para vivir con su m\u00fasica y grabar durante cinco meses.\u00a0El resultado fue el \u00e1lbum “Enrique Iglesias” (1995) que vendi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de copias en tres meses y en todo el mundo m\u00e1s de seis millones.<\/p>\n

Con “Vivir” (1997) alcanz\u00f3 unas ventas de m\u00e1s de cinco millones y fue cuando lanz\u00f3 su primera gira mundial apoyada por m\u00fasicos que anteriormente hab\u00edan acompa\u00f1ado a estrellas como Elton John , Bruce Springsteen y Billy Joel. La gira fue aclamada por cr\u00edtica y p\u00fablico resultando un \u00e9xito comercial.<\/p>\n

En 1999 tuvo lugar su segunda gira mundial presentando el \u00e1lbum “Cosas Del Amor”; este alcanz\u00f3 ventas de m\u00e1s de cuatro millones de copias y tuvo m\u00e1s de 80 presentaciones.
\nEn s\u00f3lo tres a\u00f1os, Enrique hab\u00eda vendido m\u00e1s de 17 millones de discos en espa\u00f1ol. Los Estados Unidos fue su mercado m\u00e1s grande. “Enrique Iglesias” y “Vivir” fueron certificados discos de Platino por la RIAA y “Cosas Del Amor” fue certificado disco de Oro casi llegando a ser Platino. En 1996 gana por primera vez en la historia de la m\u00fasica latina el premio Grammy como Mejor Artista Latino con su primer disco.<\/p>\n

En 1999, la versi\u00f3n europea de “Bailamos” fue la canci\u00f3n m\u00e1s solicitada por radio en los mercados m\u00e1s grandes de los Estados Unidos como Los \u00c1ngeles, Nueva York, Miami o Dallas. El actor Will Smith que asisti\u00f3 en Los \u00c1ngeles a un concierto de Enrique le pide que su canci\u00f3n sea el tema de la pel\u00edcula “Wild Wild West”. Ese verano “Bailamos” fue n\u00famero 1 por tres semanas en la lista de \u00e9xitos de la revista Billboard y Enrique gan\u00f3, como compositor adjunto, otro premio ASCAP.<\/p>\n

Luego vino “Enrique”, su primer \u00e1lbum en ingl\u00e9s. Este Doble Platino ha vendido m\u00e1s de dos millones de copias en los Estados Unidos y m\u00e1s de cuatro millones en otros pa\u00edses. Fue un \u00e9xito espectacular en pa\u00edses tan diversos como Canad\u00e1, Polonia, India y Taiw\u00e1n. Su tema “Be With You” (S\u00f3lo Me Importas T\u00fa) fue tambi\u00e9n n\u00famero 1 en el mismo verano de 2000 durante tres semanas.<\/p>\n

Enrique realiz\u00f3 otra gira mundial que le llev\u00f3 a visitar pa\u00edses nuevos para \u00e9l como Turqu\u00eda, Rusia y los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos. Es un artista que ha grabado en cuatro idiomas: espa\u00f1ol, ingl\u00e9s, portugu\u00e9s e italiano. Ha intervenido en su primer papel en la pel\u00edcula “Once Upon A Time In M\u00e9xico” (\u00c9rase Una Vez en M\u00e9xico) junto a estrellas de la talla de Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Johnny Depp y Mickey Rourke.<\/p>\n

Su disco \u201cEscape\u201d sali\u00f3 a la venta en Noviembre de 2001. En \u00e9l volvi\u00f3 a trabajar con Paul Barry y Mark Taylor.
\nEn el a\u00f1o 2002 Enrique saca a la venta, luego de cinco a\u00f1os de no grabar en espa\u00f1ol, un nuevo material titulado \u201cQuiz\u00e1s\u201d. El primer corte se titula “Mentiroso”. Al a\u00f1o siguiente vuelve a grabar en ingl\u00e9s y saca a la venta \u201c7\u201d, con temas netamente en ingl\u00e9s y otros en espanglish.<\/p>\n

A fines de 2007 lanza “Insomniac”, que marca el regreso a los escenarios con canciones nuevas.<\/p>\n

En 2008, despu\u00e9s de nueve a\u00f1os, vuelve a la Argentina y esta vez a promocionar su nuevo material titulado “95\/08”, que recopila las canciones n\u00famero 1 del artista, que han hecho historia y sale a la venta en todo Am\u00e9rica, Espa\u00f1a, Europa, Asia, Austria, Grecia, Finlandia, B\u00e9lgica, Holanda y Taiwan, entre muchos m\u00e1s. En el mismo a\u00f1o lanza un nuevo \u00e1lbum titulado “Greatest Hits”, el cual, como el nombre lo refiere, contiene los \u00e9xitos del cantante en ingl\u00e9s, as\u00ed como algunas canciones extra.<\/p>\n

En 2010, Enrique Iglesias presenta “Euphoria”, un trabajo que combina canciones en ingl\u00e9s y en espa\u00f1ol, y que cuenta con las colaboraciones de\u00a0Juan Luis Guerra\u00a0en el hit “Cuando me enamoro”, de\u00a0Pitbull\u00a0en “I like it”, de Usher en “Dirty Dancer” y de\u00a0Wisin y Yandel\u00a0en “No Me Digas Que No”, entre otros artistas.<\/p>\n

Durante 2011 comparti\u00f3 una gira mundial con\u00a0Pitbull\u00a0y\u00a0Prince Royce.<\/p>\n

El 30 de julio de 2013 lanz\u00f3 a nivel mundial el sencillo “Turn The Night Up”, que formar\u00e1 parte de su nuevo \u00e1lbum. El 26 de agosto se dio a conocer “Loco”, que cuenta con\u00a0Romeo Santos\u00a0en la colaboraci\u00f3n. En septiembre Enrique lleva a cabo la tercera entrega de un nuevo \u00e1lbum, y lanza “Heart Attack”.<\/p>\n

El 17 de marzo de 2014 sale a la venta “Sex and Love”, disco compuesto por 12 canciones, donde colaboran\u00a0Pitbull,\u00a0Marco Antonio Sol\u00eds,\u00a0Romeo Santos, Flo Rida, December Bueno,\u00a0Yandel,\u00a0Juan Mag\u00e1n\u00a0y otros. La Edici\u00f3n Deluxe incluye temas a d\u00fao con Kylie Minogue y\u00a0Jennifer L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n

El 13 de mayo de 2016 estrena “Duele el Coraz\u00f3n”, sencillo a d\u00fao con\u00a0Wisin.<\/p>\n

El 24 de febrero de 2017 se conoce el single y video “S\u00fabeme la Radio”, rodado en las calles de La Habana, Cuba. Participan como invitados Descemer Bueno y\u00a0Zion & Lennox.<\/p>\n

El 12 de enero de 2018 Enrique estrena el sencillo “El Ba\u00f1o”, junto a\u00a0Bad Bunny, adelantando nuevo \u00e1lbum. El 6 de abril se conoce el tema de Descemer Bueno “Nos Fuimos Lejos”, en el que participa Enrique Iglesias y El Micha. El 3 de mayo sale “Move To Miami”, junto a\u00a0Pitbull.<\/p>\n

El 13 de marzo de 2019 se une a Jon Z para lanzar “Despu\u00e9s Que Te Perd\u00ed”.<\/p>\n

En mayo del 2021 anuncia que arrancar\u00e1 una gira con\u00a0Ricky Mart\u00edn\u00a0por Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1\u00a0 inici\u00e1ndola el 25 de septiembre en la ciudad de Las Vegas, en el MGM Grand Garden Arena, y continuar\u00e1 en Boston, Chicago, Los \u00c1ngeles y Miami, para finalizar el 20 de noviembre en el Honda Center de Anaheim.<\/p>\n

El 17 de Septiembre de 2021 estrena su \u00e1lbum “Final (Vol.1)” y su videoclip “Pendejo”.<\/p>\n

He is the third son of singer Julio Iglesias and former Filipino model Isabel Preysler.<\/p>\n

His parents divorced when he was three years old and when he was eight his mother sent him to Miami to live with his father. Although summers were spent in Spain, his image corresponded more to that of a typical Miami youth riding jet-skis or windsurfing. What his family didn’t know is that Enrique was writing songs and dreaming of being a star. After studying business administration at the University of Miami, he decided to follow his passion.<\/p>\n

In 1995 he tried to get a recording contract as a singer under another name. When he got it, it was time to talk about his aspirations to his parents. He then flew to Toronto, Canada, where no one knew him, to live with his music and record for five months. The result was the album “Enrique Iglesias” (1995) which sold more than a million copies in three months and more than six million worldwide.<\/p>\n

With “Vivir” (1997) he reached sales of more than five million and it was when he launched his first world tour supported by musicians who had previously accompanied stars such as Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel. The tour was acclaimed by critics and audiences, resulting in a commercial success.<\/p>\n

In 1999 his second world tour took place presenting the album “Cosas Del Amor”; this reached sales of more than four million copies and had more than 80 presentations.
\nIn just three years, Enrique had sold more than 17 million records in Spanish. The United States was its largest market. “Enrique Iglesias” and “Vivir” were certified Platinum by the RIAA and “Cosas Del Amor” was certified Gold almost reaching Platinum. In 1996 he won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Artist for the first time in the history of Latin music with his first album.<\/p>\n

In 1999, the European version of “Bailamos” was the most requested song by radio in the largest markets in the United States such as Los Angeles, New York, Miami or Dallas. Actor Will Smith who attended a Enrique concert in Los Angeles asks him to make his song the theme of the movie “Wild Wild West”. That summer “Bailamos” was number 1 for three weeks on Billboard magazine’s hit list and Enrique won another ASCAP award as an assistant songwriter.<\/p>\n

Then came “Enrique”, his first album in English. This Double Platinum has sold more than two million copies in the United States and more than four million in other countries. It was a spectacular success in countries as diverse as Canada, Poland, India and Taiwan. His song “Be With You” (Only Me Importas T\u00fa) was also number 1 in the same summer of 2000 for three weeks.<\/p>\n

Enrique went on another world tour that took him to visit countries new to him such as Turkey, Russia and the United Arab Emirates. He is an artist who has recorded in four languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian. He has appeared in his first role in the movie “Once Upon A Time In Mexico” (Once upon a time in Mexico) with stars such as Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Johnny Depp and Mickey Rourke.<\/p>\n

His album \u201cEscape\u201d was released in November 2001. On it he worked again with Paul Barry and Mark Taylor.
\nIn 2002 Enrique put out for sale, after five years of not recording in Spanish, a new material entitled \u201cMaybe\u201d. The first cut is titled “Liar”. The following year he recorded again in English and released \u201c7\u201d, with songs purely in English and others in Spanglish.<\/p>\n

At the end of 2007 he released “Insomniac”, which marked his return to the stage with new songs.<\/p>\n

In 2008, after nine years, he returns to Argentina and this time to promote his new material entitled “95\/08”, which compiles the artist’s number 1 songs, which have made history and go on sale throughout America, Spain , Europe, Asia, Austria, Greece, Finland, Belgium, Holland and Taiwan, among many more. In the same year, he released a new album entitled “Greatest Hits”, which, as the name implies, contains the singer’s hits in English, as well as some extra songs.<\/p>\n

On March 17, 2014, “Sex and Love” was released, an album made up of 12 songs, with the collaboration of Pitbull, Marco Antonio Sol\u00eds, Romeo Santos, Flo Rida, December Bueno, Yandel, Juan Mag\u00e1n and others. The Deluxe Edition includes duet tracks with Kylie Minogue and Jennifer Lopez.<\/p>\n

On May 13, 2016, he premiered “Duele el Coraz\u00f3n”, a duet single with Wisin.<\/p>\n

On February 24, 2017, the single and video “S\u00fabeme la Radio” was released, shot in the streets of Havana, Cuba. Descemer Bueno and Zion & Lennox participate as guests.<\/p>\n

On January 12, 2018, Enrique premiered the single “El Ba\u00f1o”, along with Bad Bunny, anticipating a new album. On April 6, the song by Descemer Bueno “Nos We Went Lejos” was released, in which Enrique Iglesias and El Micha participated. On May 3, “Move To Miami” comes out, along with Pitbull.<\/p>\n

On March 13, 2019, he joins Jon Z to release “Despu\u00e9s Que Te Perd\u00ed”.<\/p>\n

In May 2021, he announces that he will start a tour with Ricky Mart\u00edn in the United States and Canada, starting on September 25 in the city of Las Vegas, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and will continue in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami, to finish on November 20 at the Honda Center in Anaheim.<\/p>\n

On September 17, 2021, he premieres his album “Final (Vol.1)” and his video clip “Pendejo”.<\/p>\n

On February 4, he premieres the music video for “You went” in feat with Mike Towers.<\/p>\n
