Alejandro Fern\u00e1ndez Abarca (Guadalajara, Jalisco; 24 de abril de 1971) es un cantante mexicano de m\u00fasica regional mexicana y pop latino, hijo del cantante ranchero Vicente Fern\u00e1ndez. En un principio se especializ\u00f3 en formas tradicionales de m\u00fasica regional mexicana1 como mariachi. Posteriormente se ha diversificado hacia el pop latino con toques urbanos, la balada y los boleros. Posee una s\u00f3lida carrera discogr\u00e1fica y ha sido acreedor a dos Grammy Latinos y seis Premios Billboard. Ha logrado vender alrededor del mundo aproximadamente 15 millones de \u00e1lbumes Naci\u00f3 en Guadalajara, Jalisco el 24 de abril de 1971. Es hijo menor del famoso cantante ranchero Vicente Fern\u00e1ndez y de Mar\u00eda del Refugio, conocida como Do\u00f1a Cuca. Crece en el seno de una familia tradicionalmente unida. Tiene dos hermanos mayores Vicente Jr. y Gerardo, y una hermana Alejandra.<\/div>\n

Adem\u00e1s de su inclinaci\u00f3n musical por herencia y por vocaci\u00f3n, Fern\u00e1ndez sinti\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n la necesidad de ampliar su formaci\u00f3n personal y, tras los estudios primarios y secundarios, ingres\u00f3 en la Universidad del Valle de Atemajac para estudiar Arquitectura.<\/div>\n

Es conocido por todo el p\u00fablico y la prensa como \u00abEl Potrillo\u00bb, apodo que le viene debido a que el rancho de su padre es denominado \u00abLos Tres Potrillos\u00bb en honor a sus tres hijos varones. Como empresario, a Fern\u00e1ndez se le atribuye la propiedad del centro comercial Unicenter en Guadalajara, donde hay diferentes tipos de negocios y que genera empleo a m\u00e1s de 170 personas. Tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 con su familia en la construcci\u00f3n del \u00abLienzo Charro y Centro de Espect\u00e1culo Don Vicente Fern\u00e1ndez G\u00f3mez\u00bb, mejor conocido como la Arena VFG, el m\u00e1s grande lienzo de toda Am\u00e9rica con una capacidad para 11.000 personas. B\u00e1sicamente, dedicado a espect\u00e1culos masivos y eventualmente competiciones de charrer\u00eda.<\/div>\n

Alejandro Fern\u00e1ndez Abarca (Guadalajara, Jalisco; April 24, 1971) is a Mexican singer of regional Mexican music and Latin pop, son of the ranchero singer Vicente Fern\u00e1ndez. At first he specialized in traditional forms of regional Mexican music1 such as mariachi. Later it has diversified into Latin pop with urban touches, ballads and boleros. He has a solid recording career and has been the recipient of two Latin Grammys and six Billboard Awards. He has sold approximately 15 million albums around the world. He was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco on April 24, 1971. He is the youngest son of the famous ranchero singer Vicente Fern\u00e1ndez and Mar\u00eda del Refugio, known as Do\u00f1a Cuca. He grows up in a traditionally united family. He has two older brothers Vicente Jr. and Gerardo, and a sister Alejandra.<\/div>\n

In addition to his musical inclination by inheritance and by vocation, Fern\u00e1ndez also felt the need to broaden his personal training and, after primary and secondary studies, he entered the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac to study architecture.<\/p>\n

He is known by the public and the press as “El Potrillo”, a nickname that comes to him because his father’s ranch is called “Los Tres Potrillos” in honor of his three sons. As a businessman, Fern\u00e1ndez is credited with owning the Unicenter shopping center in Guadalajara, where there are different types of businesses and which generates employment for more than 170 people. He also participated with his family in the construction of the “Don Vicente Fern\u00e1ndez G\u00f3mez Charro Canvas and Show Center”, better known as the VFG Arena, the largest canvas in all of America with a capacity for 11,000 people. Basically, dedicated to massive shows and eventually charrer\u00eda competitions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
