En 1949 viaj\u00f3 a Cuba, y luego a Nueva York. En 1952 retorn\u00f3 a Caracas y estableci\u00f3 su propia orquesta de baile. El a\u00f1o anterior firm\u00f3 contrato con la disquera transnacional RCA Victor para grabar con una orquesta de estudio, una serie exitosa de \u00e1lbumes en formato LP denominada &#8221;Dinner In\u2026&#8221;, ofreciendo m\u00fasica latina popular.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">El primero y m\u00e1s exitoso de estos \u00e1lbumes fue Dinner in Caracas, con el que rompi\u00f3 todos los records de venta hasta entonces en el mercado discogr\u00e1fico de Am\u00e9rica del Sur. Luego, grab\u00f3 numerosos \u00e1lbumes en diferentes pa\u00edses. En Estados Unidos, su capacidad como arreglista y director lo condujo a colaborar con orquestas y cantantes populares, como Dean Martin, Jerry Lee Lewis, Stan Kenton, Machito (m\u00fasico)|Machito y Tito Puente, entre otros. Tambi\u00e9n tuvo un papel importante en el campo de la m\u00fasica Sinf\u00f3nica. En 1979 fund\u00f3 la Orquesta Filarm\u00f3nica de Caracas. Tambi\u00e9n dirigi\u00f3 la Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Londres, la Orquesta de C\u00e1mara Inglesa, la Orquesta Rumana de Radio y Televisi\u00f3n y la Real Orquesta Filarm\u00f3nica. At the age of 9, he was already an experienced singer and the first children&#8217;s radio announcer on the station &#8221;La Voz de Carabobo&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In 1941 he moved to Caracas and worked as a pianist in nightclubs and in dance bands. In 1949 he traveled to Cuba, and then to New York. In 1952 he returned to Caracas and established his own dance band. The previous year he signed a contract with the transnational record company RCA Victor to record with a studio orchestra a successful series of albums in LP format called &#8221;Dinner In\u2026&#8221;, offering popular Latin music. The first and most successful of these albums was Dinner in Caracas, with which he broke all sales records up to then in the South American record market. Then, he recorded numerous albums in different countries. In the United States, his ability as an arranger and conductor led him to collaborate with popular orchestras and singers, such as Dean Martin, Jerry Lee Lewis, Stan Kenton, Machito (musician)|Machito and Tito Puente, among others. He also traveled extensively, developing his art in numerous countries: Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, France, Greece, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, Russia, Egypt, and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Aldemaro Romero was the creator in the sixties of a new form of Venezuelan music performance, known as Onda Nueva, derived from joropo and influenced by jazz. He also had an important role in the field of Symphonic music. In 1979 he founded the Caracas Philharmonic Orchestra. He also conducted the London Symphony Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Romanian Radio and Television Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p>He was the father of Aldemaro Romero Jr., who is a renowned biologist in the United States and a leader in cave fish studies and marine mammal research.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years he was semi-retired, so his recording activity had ceased.
