VERNA BLOOM, was an American actress.
Bloom was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, and studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Boston University.
He co-starred in the 1973 Clint Eastwood film High Plains Drifter and Where Have All The People Gone? from 1974, alongside Peter Graves and Kathleen Quinlan. She played more than 30 film and television roles since the 1960s, including Mary, the mother of Jesus, in 1988’s The Last Temptation of Christ, and Marion Wormer in 1978’s National Lampoon’s Animal House.
Verna Bloom died at age 80 on January 9, 2019, in Bar Harbor, Maine, of complications from dementia.
