Paramount Pictures firmó un contrato con Freeman después de mudarse a Hollywood . [4] Finalmente, firmó un contrato cinematográfico con Howard Hughes .

 

Su contrato se vendió más tarde a Paramount Pictures . Su primera aparición cinematográfica fue en la película de 1944 Till We Meet Again .  Se convirtió en una popular estrella de cine adolescente. Después de una serie de papeles como una adolescente bonita e ingenua, se quejó de ser encasillada.

Paramount Pictures signed a contract with Freeman after moving to Hollywood. [4] Eventually, he signed a film deal with Howard Hughes.

 

His contract was later sold to Paramount Pictures. His first film appearance was in the 1944 film Till We Meet Again. He became a popular teenage movie star. After a string of roles as a pretty and naive teenage girl, she complained about being typecast.

 

As an adult, Freeman’s career slowed and she appeared primarily in B-movies, although one exception was her role in the black film Angel Face (1952). He also co-starred in the hit movie Jumping Jacks with the comedy team of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.

 

Freeman’s film appearances ended in the 1950s, but he continued to work on television. Her appearances included seven guest roles on The United States Steel Hour from 1960 to 1962 and three on Perry Mason, all of them Mason’s client roles: Jane Wardman in «The Case of the Lurid Letter» (1962), Rosanne Ambrose in «The case of the illicit illusion» (1964) and Ellen Payne in «The case of the twelfth wildcat» (1965). He appeared in an episode of Wanted: Dead or Alive starring Steve McQueen.

 

Freeman was a portraitist and concentrated on painting after 1961. His best-known portrait is of businesswoman Mary See, founder of See’s Candies.
