Fue un actor sirio-estadounidense de cine, teatro, televisión, de doblaje y de radio conocido por su papel de Mr. Freeze (Señor Frío en Latinoamérica) en Batman: The Animated Series. Biografía y carrera Nació en una aldea siria en el Mandato Francés de Siria y Líbano. A los dos años de edad emigró con sus padres a Estados Unidos. Vivieron en Lowell (Massachusetts) durante una década y después se mudaron a Los Ángeles (California). En los años cincuenta actuó en varios episodios de la serie Alfred Hitchcock presents. Se hizo famoso en la popular serie de televisión Broken Arrow (1956-1958), en la que interpretaba a Cochise.  Vida personal En 1955 se casó con la actriz Jean Byron (1925-2006), de la que se divorció al año siguiente. Entre 1958 y 1974 estuvo casado con la actriz Barbara Eden, con quien tuvo a su hijo Matthew Ansara (1965-2001). En 1977 contrajo matrimonio con Beverly Kushida, permaneciendo casado con ella hasta su muerte. Muerte Ansara falleció el 31 de julio de 2013 en su casa de Calabazas, en las afueras de Los Ángeles.

Was a Syrian-American film, theater, television, dubbing and radio actor known for his role as Mr. Freeze (Mr. Cold in Latin America) in Batman: The Animated Series. Biography and career He was born in a Syrian village in the French Mandate of Syria and Lebanon. At the age of two, he emigrated with his parents to the United States. They lived in Lowell, Massachusetts for a decade and then moved to Los Angeles, California. In the 1950s he acted in several episodes of the series Alfred Hitchcock presents. He became famous on the popular television series Broken Arrow (1956-1958), in which he played Cochise. In 1967, he participated in the series The Fugitive with David Janssen as a district policeman whom his brother (played by Gilbert Roland), who makes cigars in a popular neighborhood, protects from being captured in the episode «The Savage Street».Personal life In 1955 he married actress Jean Byron (1925-2006), from whom he divorced the following year. Between 1958 and 1974 he was married to actress Barbara Eden, with whom he had his son Matthew Ansara (1965-2001).Death Ansara passed away on July 31, 2013, at her home in Calabazas, outside of Los Angeles.
