JUNE CARTER CASH, fue una cantante, compositora, actriz, comediante, filántropa estadounidense. Tocaba la guitarra, el banjo, y el autoarpa.
En marzo de 1943, junto con su madre Maybelle y sus hermanas Helen y Anita formaron el grupo country Mother Maybelle & the Carter Sisters. A pesar de no poseer el talento vocal de sus hermanas, desarrolló un don especial para la comedia.

JUNE CARTER CASH, was an American singer, songwriter, actress, comedian, philanthropist. He played the guitar, the banjo, and the harp.
In March 1943, together with her mother Maybelle and her sisters Helen and Anita, they formed the country group Mother Maybelle & the Carter Sisters. Despite not possessing the vocal talents of her sisters, she developed a special gift for comedy.
In 1950 he joined the Opry group, made up of various touring artists. There the family became friends with Hank Williams, Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, with whom they began to establish a complicated relationship. With her thin complexion, June often opted for the group’s comedic performances, alongside stars like Faron Young and Webb Pierce.
At those times he often performed duets with Cash. Their relationship was affected by Johnny’s fall into drug addiction and drinking, from which he managed to recover thanks to the help of June and her family.
