Born: September 27, 1937

Biography: he is a Spanish film, theater and television actor.

Initially a member of the group of comic actors of the so-called Landismo during the 1970s, his film career took an important turn from the Spanish Transition, with films such as A Man Called Autumn Flower or Asignatura pending, which allow him to enrich his interpretive register.

Born in the Madrid town of Chinchón in 1937, he studied at the Virgen de la Paloma Professional Training Union Institution, then run by the Salesian Congregation, but left the center to work since his teens in a mechanical workshop. His childhood, in deep post-war Castile, was difficult due to hunger, to seeing his mother when he returned from visiting his father in prison, the socio-economic and political situation of Spain.

When he was completing his military service in Melilla, he decided to dedicate himself to acting, leaving his job as a lathe mechanic, to continue his theatrical vocation. From a very young age, he became interested in independent theater and began at the Infanta Isabel Theater in Madrid. He acted as an amateur until 1960, the year in which he made his professional debut. His access to the cinematographic world took place in the sixties with secondary roles that gradually gained importance.
