JOAN WELDON (nacida Joan Louise Welton ; 5 de agosto de 1930 – 11 de febrero de 2021) fue una actriz y cantante estadounidense de cine, televisión y teatro.

Weldon nació en San Francisco, California en agosto de 1930. Su abuela, Olio Cornell, la crió en San Francisco después de que «se quedara sin madre a los cinco años».

Weldon was born in San Francisco, California in August 1930. Her grandmother, Olio Cornell, raised her in San Francisco after she «lost her mother at age five.»

 

Weldon began his career singing in the San Francisco Grand Opera Company choir. He also sang with the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera. On Broadway, he appeared in Kean. He sang at the opening of the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center in 1964.

 

After working in film and television, she resumed her singing career in productions of touring companies such as The Music Man and Oklahoma !. Weldon retired in 1980.

 

In 1953, Weldon appeared as a solo soprano on a broadcast of The Standard Hour on NBC radio.
