Fue un actor cómico estadounidense mejor recordado por su papel de Cpl. Was an American comedic actor best remembered for his role as Cpl. Rocco Barbella on The Phil Silvers Show (aka Sergeant Bilko, aka You’ll Never Get Rich) in the late 1950s, and as the wandering and overconfident biker Eric Von Zipper in the beach party movies during the early 1950s. 1960. He also made notable performances both on stage and screen in Stalag 17. His partner, Caroline Dubs, became his wife. Two weeks after graduation, Lembeck won the role of Sam Insigna on Mister Roberts, which he played on Broadway for almost three years. Death Lembeck continued to act and teach acting until his death from a heart attack on January 5, 1982. He was acting in an episode of Mork and Mindy when he became ill, collapsed when leaving the set, and died. He was 58 years old.
