Hans Georg Conried, Jr. (15 de abril de 1917 – 5 de enero de 1982) fue un humorista, actor de carácter y actor de voz de nacionalidad estadounidense.

Conried actuó de manera regular en numerosos shows radiofónicos en las décadas de 1940 y 1950, destacando de entre ellos el George Burns & Gracie Allen Show, en el cual hacía el papel de un psiquiatra a quien Burns consultaba habitualmente buscando ayuda en su relación con la atolondrada Allen.

El año más destacado de la carrera de Conried fue 1953, debutando como actor teatral en el circuito de Broadway con la obra Can-Can, y participando en seis largometrajes, entre ellos, The Twonky y The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T. Hans Georg Conried, Jr. (April 15, 1917 – January 5, 1982) was an American comedian, character actor, and voice actor.

Conried appeared regularly on numerous radio shows in the 1940s and 1950s, most notably the George Burns & Gracie Allen Show, in which he played a psychiatrist whom Burns regularly consulted for help in his relationship with giddy Allen.

The most notable year of Conried’s career was 1953, debuting as a theater actor on the Broadway circuit with the play Can-Can, and participating in six feature films, including The Twonky and The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T. Other productions Broadway shows he worked on were 70, Girls, 70 and Irene.

Conried’s inimitable growl, as well as his impeccable diction, were perfect for the roles he played, whether it was Professor Kopokin on the radio show My Friend Irma, or evil comedians and eccentric types like Captain Hook (and Mr. Darling) in the Walt Disney film Peter Pan and the Grinch/narrator in the film written by Dr. Seuss Halloween is Grinch Night.
