Bob Marley and the Wailers released \u201cCatch a Fire,\u201d their first studio album, under the distribution of Island Records (with a first printing of 14,000 copies). It did not go beyond #171 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart, and did not enter the UK albums charts. It tiptoed into the American charts, did not go beyond position 171, and did not even set foot on the British charts.<\/p>\n
\u201cCatch a Fire\u201d is considered one of the best Reggae albums, and journalist David Sinclair wrote about it: \u201cIt did for Reggae what \u201cPlease, Please Me\u201d, The Beatles’ first album, had done for Reggae. Pop a decade earlier.”<\/p>\n
