La grabaci\u00f3n se llev\u00f3 a cabo entre agosto de 1974 y enero de 1975, con Bowie, Tony Visconti y Harry Maslin como productores. \u201cYoung Americans\u201d tuvo una excelente repercusi\u00f3n en el mercado estadounidense, marcando un punto clave en la carrera del artista. El disco cuenta con canciones como \u201cYoung Americans\u201d, \u201cFascination\u201d, \u201cSomebody Up There Likes Me\u201d, \u201cCan You Hear Me?\u201d y \u201cFame\u201d, compuesta junto con John Lennon.<\/p>\n<p>David Bowie naci\u00f3n como David Robert Jones el 8 de enero de 1947 en Londres, Inglaterra. Durante cinco d\u00e9cadas llev\u00f3 adelante una exitosa carrera musical, en la que realiz\u00f3 aclamados \u00e1lbumes como \u201cSpace Oddity\u201d (1969), \u201cThe Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars\u201d (1972) y \u201cDiamond Dogs\u201d (1974).
