En 1967, Lamm fue uno de los seis fundadores de una banda con metales que se acab\u00f3 conociendo como \u201cChicago\u201d. No ser\u00eda hasta 1974, despu\u00e9s de grabar seis discos con la banda, que Lamm public\u00f3 Skinny Boy, el \u00fanico disco en solitario de un miembro de Chicago antes de los a\u00f1os 80. En 1991 se instal\u00f3 en Nueva York y comenz\u00f3 a publicar discos bajo su nombre. Lamm form\u00f3 un tr\u00edo (Beckley\/Lamm\/Wilson) con Gerry Beckley de la banda anglo-americana Am\u00e9rica y Carl Wilson de The Beach Boys. At the age of fifteen, his family moved to Chicago (Illinois). He studied art in high school, especially drawing and painting, but switched to music when he entered the Roosevelt University of Chicago.<\/div>\r\n

In 1967, Lamm was one of the six founders of a brass band that became known as “Chicago.” It would not be until 1974, after recording six albums with the band, that Lamm released Skinny Boy, the only solo album by a Chicago member before the 1980s. In 1991 he settled in New York and began releasing records under his name. Name. Lamm formed a trio (Beckley \/ Lamm \/ Wilson) with Gerry Beckley of the Anglo-American band America and Carl Wilson of The Beach Boys. After Wilson’s death in February 1998, an album called Like a Brother (2000) was released.<\/div>\r\n

Despite his solo activity, Lamm continued with Chicago, recording albums like “The Stone of Sisyphus” and “Night and Day.”<\/div>\r\n
