Mar\u00eda Trinidad P\u00e9rez de Miravete-Mille, m\u00e1s conocida como Mari Trini (Murcia,\u200b 12 de julio de 19472\u200b – Murcia, 6 de abril de 2009), fue una cantautora espa\u00f1ola que goz\u00f3 de enorme popularidad y \u00e9xito comercial tanto en Espa\u00f1a como en pa\u00edses de habla hispana durante las d\u00e9cadas de 70s y 80’s. Vendi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de diez millones de discos, por lo que fue galardonada con un Disco multidiamante en 2005, y en el mismo a\u00f1o fue homenajeada por la SGAE en reconocimiento a su larga carrera. De marcada personalidad y defensora del feminismo en sus letras, Mari Trini es una de las figuras esenciales de la m\u00fasica espa\u00f1ola en los a\u00f1os de la Transici\u00f3n. Cosmopolita por formaci\u00f3n y gustos musicales, fue descubierta en la adolescencia por el cineasta Nicholas Ray, quien la empuj\u00f3 a curtirse musicalmente en Londres, y despu\u00e9s residi\u00f3 durante cinco a\u00f1os en Francia. Fue autora e int\u00e9rprete de baladas hoy ya fundamentales del cancionero en espa\u00f1ol, y se la recuerda tambi\u00e9n por sus interpretaciones en franc\u00e9s, particularmente del cl\u00e1sico Ne me quitte pas, de Jacques Brel.<\/p>\n

Mar\u00eda Trinidad P\u00e9rez de Miravete-Mille, better known as Mari Trini (Murcia, July 12, 19472 – Murcia, April 6, 2009), was a Spanish singer-songwriter who enjoyed enormous popularity and commercial success both in Spain and in other countries. Spanish-speaking during the 70s and 80s. She sold more than ten million records, for which she was awarded a multi-diamond Disc in 2005, and in the same year she was honored by the SGAE in recognition of her long career. With a strong personality and defender of feminism in her lyrics, Mari Trini is one of the essential figures of Spanish music in the years of the Transition. Cosmopolitan by training and musical tastes, she was discovered in adolescence by the filmmaker Nicholas Ray, who pushed her to become musically tanned in London, and then resided for five years in France. She was the author and interpreter of ballads that are now fundamental to the songbook in Spanish, and she is also remembered for her interpretations in French, particularly of the classic Ne me quitte pas, by Jacques Brel.<\/p>\n
