PACO P\u00c9REZ, Fue un cantante, compositor y guitarrista guatemalteco, Naci\u00f3 en Huehuetenango, el 25 de abril de 1916.<\/div>\n

En su ciudad natal aprendi\u00f3 sus primeras letras en el colegio “La Aurora” y a los seis a\u00f1os actu\u00f3 en el Teatro Municipal de aquella cabecera departamental. En 1927 se traslad\u00f3 con su familia a Quetzaltenango, en donde ofreci\u00f3 varias actuaciones como cantante y declamador.<\/div>\n

Paco P\u00e9rez hizo su debut como cantante en 1935 en el Teatro Municipal de Quetzaltenango, con el acompa\u00f1amiento al piano de Juan Sandoval. Posteriormente, con Manolo Rosales y Jos\u00e9 \u00c1lvarez, form\u00f3 el Tr\u00edo Quetzaltecos.<\/div>\n

En la inauguraci\u00f3n de la radio TGQ, en 1937, realiz\u00f3 una serie de conciertos. Fue inmortalizado por su vals-canci\u00f3n Luna de Xelaj\u00fa (1944), que ha pasado a ser componente de la identidad de muchos guatemaltecos. Esta canci\u00f3n de fuerte identidad forma parte de los repertorios de la mayor\u00eda de cantantes, coros, orfeones, marimbas y todo tipo de agrupaciones instrumentales en Guatemala.<\/div>\n

PACO P\u00c9REZ, He was a Guatemalan singer, songwriter and guitarist, He was born in Huehuetenango, on April 25, 1916.<\/div>\n

In his hometown he learned his first letters at the “La Aurora” school and at the age of six he performed at the Municipal Theater of that departmental head. In 1927 he moved with his family to Quetzaltenango, where he offered various performances as a singer and declaimer.<\/div>\n
