She is an American actress, comedian, and singer. She achieved fame in 1972 thanks to the film Cabaret, with which she won the Oscar for best actress. She is well known for her work in live shows, both musical comedies and recitals, for which she has won three Broadway Tony Awards, one of them Special. He has also won an Emmy, two Golden Globes, a British BAFTA, and a Grammy Legend Award, along with many other honors and awards. In July 2011 she was awarded the Legion of Honor by the French government.<\/div>\n
