Fue un cantante, pianista, director de orquesta, humorista y presentador de televisi\u00f3n colombiano.<\/div>\n

Nacido en Barranquilla, muy ni\u00f1o se radicar\u00eda en Mompox, Bol\u00edvar. Ten\u00eda 3 hermanos: Tony, Javier y “Pepillo” Salcedo, adem\u00e1s un medio hermano, Giovanni Rosan\u00eda. Posteriormente, dejar\u00eda a Mompox para desarrollar sus habilidades musicales que mezclaba con chistes en los bares de Barranquilla, lo que lo convirti\u00f3 en famoso a temprana edad. Pronto ser\u00eda descubierto por el cantante Billy Pontoni en Bogot\u00e1 para sus conciertos en distintos bares de la ciudad.<\/div>\n

Posteriormente, Salcedo se unir\u00eda a su primera banda musical los Be-Bops de Carlos Acosta D’Lima y \u00c1lvaro Serrano Calder\u00f3n, con la que se ir\u00eda de gira por Europa durante algunos a\u00f1os. De vuelta en Bogot\u00e1, fund\u00f3 la banda La Onda Tres, de corte tropical.<\/div>\n

Su primera aparici\u00f3n en la televisi\u00f3n colombiana fue gracias a que los directivos de la programadora Punch lo designaron como director de su programa Mano a Mano Musical (1970), que tambi\u00e9n inclu\u00eda entrevistas.<\/div>\n

Posteriormente, fund\u00f3 su propia programadora, Do Re Creativa Tv, que lo convirti\u00f3 en plataforma de entretenimiento musical con la tele-audiencia.<\/div>\n

Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a Colombian singer, pianist, conductor, humorist and television presenter.<\/p>\n

Born in Barranquilla, very young he would settle in Mompox, Bol\u00edvar. He had 3 brothers: Tony, Javier and “Pepillo” Salcedo, as well as a half brother, Giovanni Rosan\u00eda. Later, he would leave Mompox to develop his musical skills that he mixed with jokes in the bars of Barranquilla, which made him famous at an early age. Soon he would be discovered by the singer Billy Pontoni in Bogot\u00e1 for his concerts in different bars in the city.<\/p>\n

Later, Salcedo would join his first musical band, the Be-Bops of Carlos Acosta D’Lima and \u00c1lvaro Serrano Calder\u00f3n, with which he would tour Europe for a few years. Back in Bogot\u00e1, he founded the tropical band La Onda Tres.<\/p>\n

His first appearance on Colombian television was thanks to the directors of the programming company Punch appointed him as director of their program Mano a Mano Musical (1970), which also included interviews.<\/p>\n

Later, he founded his own programmer, Do Re Creativa Tv, which turned it into a musical entertainment platform with the television audience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
