Ambos encontraron una posible soluci\u00f3n: reforzar las esquinas de los bolsillos con ribetes (cinta). Ambos empresarios presentaron la patente del proceso y el 20 de Mayo de 1873 lleg\u00f3 la concesi\u00f3n de esta y de la marca registrada en EE.UU.
