Sa\u00fal Hern\u00e1ndez naci\u00f3 en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico el 15 de enero de 1964. Originario de la Colonia Guerrero. A muy temprana edad perdi\u00f3 a su madre y \u00e9l mismo juzga esa confrontaci\u00f3n con la muerte, como inspiraci\u00f3n fundamental para los temas que ha escrito. En 1979, a los quince a\u00f1os, dej\u00f3 los estudios y form\u00f3 su primera agrupaci\u00f3n, llamada Deimos, en donde fungi\u00f3 como vocalista y guitarrista, en compa\u00f1\u00eda de Jos\u00e9 Navarro (bater\u00eda) y Salvador de la Fuente (guitarra). Al desintegrarse Deimos, en 1981, le siguieron In Memoriam y Frac. En 1985 cre\u00f3 una nueva agrupaci\u00f3n llamada Las Ins\u00f3litas Im\u00e1genes de Aurora, t\u00edtulo de un cuento escrito por Hern\u00e1ndez en su infancia.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Este grupo se cre\u00f3 para amenizar una fiesta organizada por el ahora director de cine Carlos Marcovich, quien lo present\u00f3 a su hermano Alejandro. Ese ser\u00eda tambi\u00e9n el primer grupo al que se incorporar\u00eda el baterista Alfonso Andr\u00e9, quien a partir de ese momento participar\u00eda en todos los proyectos de Hern\u00e1ndez. La fama de Las Ins\u00f3litas creci\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente en el \u00e1mbito underground mexicano, al tiempo que sus integrantes participaban en las presentaciones en TV del cantante argentino Laureano Brizuela entre otros, con el fin de reunir dinero para adquirir instrumentos y equipo. Durante dos a\u00f1os y medio, fue sometido a 40 operaciones en la garganta para que le extirparan varios tumores.<\/p>\r\n

Sa\u00fal Hern\u00e1ndez was born in Mexico City on January 15, 1964. Originally from Colonia Guerrero. At a very young age he lost his mother and he himself judges that confrontation with death as a fundamental inspiration for the songs he has written. In 1979, at the age of fifteen, he left school and formed his first group, called Deimos, where he acted as vocalist and guitarist, accompanied by Jos\u00e9 Navarro (drums) and Salvador de la Fuente (guitar). When Deimos disintegrated in 1981, it was followed by In Memoriam and Frac. In 1985 he created a new group called Las Ins\u00f3litas Imagens de Aurora, the title of a story written by Hern\u00e1ndez in his childhood.<\/p>\r\n

This group was created to liven up a party organized by the now film director Carlos Marcovich, who introduced him to his brother Alejandro. That would also be the first group that drummer Alfonso Andr\u00e9 would join, who from that moment would participate in all of Hern\u00e1ndez’s projects. The fame of Las Ins\u00f3litas grew rapidly in the Mexican underground, while its members participated in the TV presentations of Argentine singer Laureano Brizuela among others, in order to raise money to purchase instruments and equipment. For two and a half years, he underwent 40 operations on his throat to remove various tumors.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
