Despu\u00e9s de los inicios cinematogr\u00e1ficos en Inglaterra, especialmente en la pel\u00edcula Blow Up, comenz\u00f3 una carrera en Francia donde conoci\u00f3 a su futuro mentor, compositor y socio, Serge Gainsbourg. Una de sus primeras colaboraciones con Gainsbourg, la 45 rpm Je t’aime… moi non plus, se convirti\u00f3 en un \u00e9xito internacional y alcanz\u00f3 el primer lugar en el Reino Unido.<\/div>\n
