Inici\u00f3 su carrera a finales de la d\u00e9cada de los a\u00f1os 1980 como int\u00e9rprete de m\u00fasica folcl\u00f3rica, logrando obtener en 1993 el reconocimiento de “Mejor Cantante de M\u00fasica Criolla”. A nivel internacional, particip\u00f3 en el Festival OTI de la Canci\u00f3n de 1994 con la melod\u00eda Enfurecida, obteniendo el tercer puesto; esta composici\u00f3n le vali\u00f3 una nominaci\u00f3n para el premio ACCA de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Compositores de Miami. En el a\u00f1o 2001 form\u00f3 una orquesta compuesta de diecis\u00e9is m\u00fasicos.<\/div>\n

En 1994 da su primer salto internacional al representar a Venezuela en el Festival OTI de la Canci\u00f3n celebrado en la ciudad de Valencia, Espa\u00f1a, donde conquist\u00f3 el tercer lugar con \u00abEnfurecida\u00bb. Con esta pieza Luis Silva y el creador del tema Joel Leonardo estuvieron nominados al premio ACCA que otorga la Asociaci\u00f3n de Compositores de Miami. Con el disco internacional, Luis Silva logr\u00f3 cosechar grandes \u00e9xitos dentro y fuera del pa\u00eds. La versi\u00f3n del famoso tema del cantante argentino, Leo Dan \u00abTe he prometido\u00bb ocup\u00f3 el sitial de honor en las carteleras radiales, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n la pieza \u00abLa Distancia y t\u00fa\u00bb que sirvi\u00f3 de marco musical de la telenovela “Volver a vivir” de RCTV.<\/div>\n

He began his career in the late 1980s as a folk music interpreter, achieving in 1993 the recognition of “Best Creole Music Singer”. At an international level, he participated in the 1994 OTI Song Festival with the melody Enraged, getting third place; this composition earned him a nomination for the ACCA award from the Miami Composers Association. In 2001 she formed an orchestra made up of sexteen musicians.<\/div>\n
