Federico Jos\u00e9 Moura (Berisso, 23 de octubre de 1951 – Buenos Aires, 21 de diciembre de 1988) fue un m\u00fasico, cantautor, compositor, productor discogr\u00e1fico y dise\u00f1ador de ropa argentino, considerado uno de los m\u00e1s influyentes y reconocidos m\u00fasicos del rock hispanoamericano.<\/div>\n

L\u00edder de Virus, banda de rock fundamental dentro del estilo musical new wave de los a\u00f1os 1980 en Sudam\u00e9rica.1 Tuvo un rol importante dentro de la m\u00fasica popular, ya que su banda dio una apertura a otros estilos e incorpor\u00f3 la electr\u00f3nica y letras camufladas en sus canciones de rock.<\/div>\n

Federico Jos\u00e9 Moura, el cuarto de seis hermanos, naci\u00f3 en La Plata, hijo de Pico Moura, un abogado que se especializaba en derecho civil, y Velia Oliva, maestra y pianista aficionada.2 El mayor de los hermanos, Jorge, era miembro del Ej\u00e9rcito Revolucionario del Pueblo y fue secuestrado durante la dictadura militar en 1977; desde entonces se encuentra desaparecido.<\/div>\n

Desde peque\u00f1o, Federico mostr\u00f3 inter\u00e9s por la m\u00fasica, y a los cuatro o cinco a\u00f1os aprendi\u00f3 acordes de guitarra y piano.2 Su primera experiencia art\u00edstica transcurri\u00f3 en plena adolescencia con el grupo Dulcemembriyo, con el que lleg\u00f3 a realizar algunas giras por Am\u00e9rica Latina, en el rol de bajista, luego form\u00f3 parte de Las Violetas y finalmente Marabunta.<\/div>\n

Moura estudi\u00f3 en escuela anexa dependiente de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, donde curs\u00f3 los estudios primarios y de joven practic\u00f3 rugby en La Plata Rugby Club al igual que sus dem\u00e1s hermanos. Adem\u00e1s, era aficionado al atletismo y al v\u00f3leibol de playa. Termin\u00f3 la secundaria en el Colegio Nacional de La Plata.<\/div>\n

Milit\u00f3 en el silo\u00edsmo, corriente pol\u00edtico filos\u00f3fica fundada por Mario Rodr\u00edguez Cobos, alias Silo, origen de lo que hoy es el Movimiento Humanista, donde militaba su hermano Jorge, quien luego se involucrar\u00eda en la Juventud del PTR.<\/div>\n

Federico Jos\u00e9 Moura (Berisso, October 23, 1951 – Buenos Aires, December 21, 1988) was an Argentine musician, singer-songwriter, composer, record producer and clothing designer, considered one of the most influential and recognized Spanish-American rock musicians.<\/div>\n

Leader of Virus, fundamental rock band within the new wave musical style of the 1980s in South America.1 He had an important role within popular music, since his band gave an opening to other styles and incorporated electronics and camouflaged lyrics in his rock songs.<\/div>\n

Federico Jos\u00e9 Moura, the fourth of six siblings, was born in La Plata, the son of Pico Moura, a lawyer who specialized in civil law, and Velia Oliva, a teacher and amateur pianist.2 The eldest of the brothers, Jorge, was a member of the The People’s Revolutionary Army and was kidnapped during the military dictatorship in 1977; Since then he has disappeared.3 From a young age, Federico showed interest in music, and at the age of four or five he learned guitar and piano chords.2 His first artistic experience was spent in his teens with the group Dulcemembriyo, with which he performed some tours of Latin America, in the role of bass player, then he was part of Las Violetas and finally Marabunta.<\/div>\n

Moura studied in an attached school dependent on the National University of La Plata, where he attended primary school and as a young man he practiced rugby at La Plata Rugby Club like his other brothers. In addition, he was fond of athletics and beach volleyball. He finished high school at the National School of La Plata.<\/div>\n

He was active in siloism, a political-philosophical current founded by Mario Rodr\u00edguez Cobos, alias Silo, the origin of what is now the Humanist Movement, where his brother Jorge was a member, who later became involved in the PTR Youth.<\/div>\n
