Naci\u00f3 en Los \u00c1ngeles el 3 de octubre de 1951 en el seno de una familia de origen sure\u00f1o. Sus padres, de Luisiana y Texas eran aficionados a la m\u00fasica Gospel y al Blues, por lo que desde muy joven se interes\u00f3 por la m\u00fasica y ya de adolescente se hab\u00eda convertido en un experto guitarrista. A los 21 a\u00f1os, Moore se uni\u00f3 a una banda de R&B que m\u00e1s tarde fue contratada para acompa\u00f1ar de gira a Papa John Creach, violinista excomponente de Jefferson Airplane. Con Creach lleg\u00f3 a grabar tres \u00e1lbumes “Filthy!”, “Playing My Fiddle for You”, “I’m the Fiddle Man” y “Rock Father”. En 1975 co-escribi\u00f3 junto a Papa John Creach el tema instrumental “Git Fiddler”, que aparece en el \u00e1lbum “Red Octopus” de Jefferson Starship.<\/div>\n

Keb’ Mo’posee un gran n\u00famero de guitarras, incluyendo guitarras el\u00e9ctricas, guitarras ac\u00fasticas y guitarras con resonador. Tiene preferencia por el color rojo, su primer guitarra fue de ese color. Generalmente suele tocar con una Fender Stratocaster modificada con dos pastillas single coil y una humbucker. He was born in Los Angeles on October 3, 1951 into a family of southern origin. His parents, from Louisiana and Texas, were fond of Gospel music and Blues, so from a very young age he became interested in music and as a teenager he had become an expert guitarist. At age 21, Moore joined an R&B band that was later hired to tour Papa John Creach, a former Jefferson Airplane violinist.<\/div>\n

With Creach he went on to record three albums “Filthy!”, “Playing My Fiddle for You”, “I’m the Fiddle Man” and “Rock Father”. In 1975 he co-wrote with Papa John Creach the instrumental song “Git Fiddler”, which appears on the Jefferson Starship album “Red Octopus”.<\/div>\n

Keb ‘Mo’ owns a large number of guitars, including electric guitars, acoustic guitars, and resonator guitars. He has a preference for the color red, his first guitar was that color. He generally plays on a modified Fender Stratocaster with two single coil pickups and a humbucker. On stage he prefers a red Hamer guitar with Gibson P-100 pickups.<\/div>\n
