He was an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is widely considered one of the most influential blues musicians of all time, receiving the nickname “King of Blues” and the nickname “one of the three kings of the blues guitar” alongside Albert King and Freddie King. According to Edward M. Komara, King “introduced a sophisticated style of solos based on flowing bent [guitar] strings and brilliant vibratos that would influence virtually every electric blues guitarist who followed him.” The Beatles mentioned him in the song “Dig It”, others, Rolling Stone magazine placed him at number six on the list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time10 and is at number 17 on the list “Top 50 Guitarists of all time.” All Time \u00bbproduced by Gibson. King was invited to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.<\/div>\n
