Fundado un 6 de agosto del pa\u00eds Bolivia, aunque el motivo del nombre GRUPO BOLIVIA no fue ese, fue porque las primeras integrantes eran de diferentes ciudades, en realidad la fundaci\u00f3n tampoco tiene que ver a las fiestas patrias es m\u00e1s bien a la primera actuaci\u00f3n que tuvieron a las orillas del Lago Titicaca.<\/div>\n

Hace 20 a\u00f1os, cinco muchachas alborotaron el Coliseo Cerrado cuando se presentaron con un atuendo t\u00edpico del Norte de Potos\u00ed y tocando instrumentos de cuerda, percusi\u00f3n y viento.<\/div>\n

\u201cMi emoci\u00f3n fue grande desde que empezamos a interpretar el chuntunqui Bolivia y luego Altiplano (caporal) y la gente no paraba de aplaudirnos\u201d, recuerda Teresa Vela, fundadora del grupo femenino Bolivia, que el 6 de agosto cumpli\u00f3 dos d\u00e9cadas de vida art\u00edstica.<\/div>\n

En su debut, en el Festival de M\u00fasica organizado por la Loter\u00eda Nacional (1983), el grupo gener\u00f3 gran sorpresa en el p\u00fablico y obtuvo el cuarto lugar, fue la revelaci\u00f3n y recibi\u00f3 la primera invitaci\u00f3n para participar en el Festival Internacional de M\u00fasica de Copacabana.<\/div>\n

Por entonces, en el medio art\u00edstico hab\u00eda famosas cantantes solistas y se conoc\u00eda a Las Imillas y La \u00d1ustas, conformadas por las hermanas Sonia y Norma Ponce; pero el Grupo Femenino Bolivia se presentaba como el primer conjunto femenino instrumental y vocal.<\/div>\n

\u201c\u00a1C\u00f3mo (va a tocar zampo\u00f1a)!, dec\u00edamos nosotros, machistas, pero a Alcides Mej\u00eda le encantaba que una mujer toque sus instrumentos\u201d, cuenta Mario Castro, m\u00fasico y actual representante del grupo Bolivia, cuando recuerda los inicios de Teresa en la interpretaci\u00f3n de instrumentos de viento.<\/div>\n

\u201cEllas no deben nada a nadie y eso se lo ganaron. Todo lo que se propusieron lo lograron, a pesar de que para la mujer artista es mucho m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil y sacrificado\u201d, sostiene Castro ahora.<\/div>\n

\u201cAl principio \u2014contin\u00faa Teresa\u2014 s\u00ed hab\u00eda un rechazo de los artistas y planteaban frecuentemente que las chicas abran el espect\u00e1culo o que esperen. Hoy eso se ha superado\u201d.<\/div>\n

Otro obst\u00e1culo fue la mentalidad de los padres conservadores que no aceptaban que sus hijas sigan una carrera con trasnoches en locales nocturnos. \u201cFue un proceso de concientizar a los padres, a la sociedad y a los compa\u00f1eros de arte\u201d, dice Teresa.<\/div>\n

En 1990, el grupo se present\u00f3 en Nice La Farandole, en Francia, y nuevamente gener\u00f3 gran sensaci\u00f3n en el p\u00fablico, que gust\u00f3 de la propuesta femenina.<\/div>\n

Desde entonces, las m\u00fasicas realizaban giras internacionales de tres o seis meses por Francia, Alemania, Estados Unidos, Asia y Sudam\u00e9rica.<\/div>\n

El agitado ritmo en el que ingres\u00f3 el conjunto hizo tambi\u00e9n que muchas de sus miembros optaran por dejar la m\u00fasica luego de contraer matrimonio o seguir una carrera profesional.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Encontrar integrantes que sepan ejecutar un instrumento tambi\u00e9n fue dif\u00edcil. Pero al final se descubri\u00f3 a talentos nuevos y surgi\u00f3 una cadena de j\u00f3venes que interpretan charangos, guitarras zampo\u00f1as y otros.<\/div>\n

Hoy, con una gran trayectoria como emblema, el grupo cuenta con nueve discos y se encuentra en su momento m\u00e1s exitoso con su gran hit Nostalgias.<\/div>\n

Twenty years ago, five girls rioted the Closed Coliseum when they showed up in typical North Potos\u00ed attire and playing strings, percussion and wind instruments.<\/div>\n
“My emotion was great since we began to interpret the chuntunqui Bolivia and then Altiplano (caporal) and people did not stop applauding us,” recalls Teresa Vela, founder of the Bolivian women’s group, which on August 6 celebrated two decades of artistic life.<\/div>\n

In its debut, at the Music Festival organized by the National Lottery (1983), the group generated great surprise in the public and obtained fourth place, it was the revelation and received the first invitation to participated in the Copacabana International Music Festival.<\/div>\n

Another obstacle was the mentality of conservative parents who did not accept that their daughters follow a career with late nights in nightclubs. “It was a process of raising awareness among parents, society and fellow art,” says Teresa.<\/div>\n

In 1990, the group performed at Nice La Farandole, in France, and again generated a great sensation in the public, who liked the female proposal.<\/div>\n
