M\u00fasico paraguayo nacido en Escobar (departamento de Paraguar\u00ed) el 5 de agosto de 1917 y muri\u00f3 \u00a0el 24 de febrero de 1993 en la misma ciudad. Fue un m\u00fasico autodidacto que comenz\u00f3 su andadura a los 18 a\u00f1os. En R\u00edo de Janeiro actu\u00f3 con la orquesta de Herminio Gim\u00e9nez, con quien har\u00eda otra gira por Buenos Aires en 1947. Fue un integrante, junto a Eladio Mart\u00ednez y Albino Qui\u00f1onez, del Tr\u00edo Ol\u00edmpico, con el que viajaron a Londres para los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos de 1948. Su obra m\u00e1s conocida es \u201cA mi pueblito Escobar\u201d, en honor de su ciudad natal. Otras obras suyas importantes son \u201cMi dicha lejana\u201d, \u201cOraci\u00f3n a mi amada\u201d, \u201cLejana flor\u201d y \u201cNde tapere\u201d. Fue socio fundador de Autores Paraguayos Asociados (APA), y de la Sociedad Argentina de Autores y Compositores (SADAIC).<\/p>\n

Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n

Paraguayan musician born in Escobar (department of Paraguar\u00ed) on August 5, 1917 and died on February 24, 1993 in the same city. He was a self-taught musician who began his career at the age of 18. In Rio de Janeiro he performed with the Herminio Gim\u00e9nez orchestra, with whom he would do another tour of Buenos Aires in 1947. He was a member, together with Eladio Mart\u00ednez and Albino Qui\u00f1onez, of the Olympic Trio, with whom they traveled to London for the Olympic Games in 1948. His best known work is “To my Little town Escobar”, in honor of his hometown. Other important works of his are “My distant happiness”, “Prayer to my beloved”, “Far flower” and “Nde tapere”. He was a founding partner of Autores Paraguayos Asociados (APA), and of the Argentine Society of Authors and Composers (SADAIC).<\/p>\n
