Junto a artistas como Ang\u00e9lica Mar\u00eda, C\u00e9sar Costa, Enrique Guzm\u00e1n, Alberto V\u00e1zquez y Manolo Mu\u00f1oz form\u00f3 parte de la llamada \u00e9poca de oro del rock and roll en M\u00e9xico. Form\u00f3 parte del grupo Los Rebeldes del Rock, primer grupo de rock en espa\u00f1ol de esa \u00e9poca que logr\u00f3 que les editar\u00e1n un disco en los a\u00f1os 60 en M\u00e9xico.<\/div>\n

Fue hijo del actor y compositor Juan Jos\u00e9 Laboriel y de la actriz Francisca L\u00f3pez de Laboriel originarios de La Ceiba, Honduras, y hermano del bajista Abraham Laboriel y de la tambi\u00e9n cantante Ela Laboriel. En 1958 ingres\u00f3 en el grupo de rock and roll Los Rebeldes del Rock, donde comenz\u00f3 su carrera profesional, alcanz\u00f3 fama por la interpretaci\u00f3n de las canciones Rock del \u00e1ngelito (Rockin’ Little Angel) y \u201cMelod\u00eda de amor\u201d pero logr\u00f3 una serie de m\u00e1s de 50 hits en la radio casi todos como cantante de Los Rebeldes del Rock. En 1963 inici\u00f3 su carrera como solista.<\/div>\n

Concurs\u00f3 en nueve ocasiones para el Festival OTI de la Canci\u00f3n. En 1978 interpret\u00f3 la canci\u00f3n \u201cSe\u00f1ora coraz\u00f3n\u201d, de Felipe Gil, con la cual obtuvo el 5\u00b0 lugar de la eliminatoria nacional.<\/div>\n

Along with artists such as Ang\u00e9lica Mar\u00eda, C\u00e9sar Costa, Enrique Guzm\u00e1n, Alberto V\u00e1zquez and Manolo Mu\u00f1oz, he was part of the so-called golden age of rock and roll in Mexico. He was part of the group Los Rebeldes del Rock, the first rock group in Spanish of that time that managed to get an album released in the 60s in Mexico.<\/div>\n

He was the son of actor and composer Juan Jos\u00e9 Laboriel and actress Francisca L\u00f3pez de Laboriel from La Ceiba, Honduras, and brother of bassist Abraham Laboriel and singer Ela Laboriel.<\/div>\n

In 1958 he joined the rock and roll group Los Rebeldes del Rock, where he began his professional career, achieved fame for the interpretation of the songs Rock del angelito (Rockin ‘Little Angel) and “Melod\u00eda de amor” but achieved a series of more of 50 hits on the radio almost all as a singer of Los Rebeldes del Rock. In 1978 he performed the song \u201cSe\u00f1ora coraz\u00f3n\u201d, by Felipe Gil, with which he obtained the 5th place in the national qualifying round.<\/div>\n
