Nace un 7 de julio de 1948 en Las Tablas, Panam\u00e1. Sus padres son Abraham Vergara y Mercedes D\u00edaz de Vergara.<\/p>\n

Ulpiano lleva ya m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os de trayectoria por lo que se convierte en una de las figuras m\u00e1s reconocidas de Panam\u00e1. Explica el cantante que tocaba acordeones desde los 6 a\u00f1os de edad. Tambi\u00e9n dice que las primeras notas se las ense\u00f1\u00f3 su hermano Hern\u00e1n Vergara.<\/p>\n

Su conjunto ha estado conformado con muchos artistas, entre ellos Domingo “Mingo” Cede\u00f1o, Dalys Villarreal, Franklin Vergara (hermano), Luis Rey (Lucho) De Sedas, Elita Delgado entre otros. Su trayectoria comienza desde muy peque\u00f1o cuando toca su primer baile en San Miguel, pueblo vecino a San Jos\u00e9. Luego viene a estudiar a Panama al Instituto Nacional donde participa en el conjunto folcl\u00f3rico de la profesora Petita Escobar, donde tiene la oportunidad de viajar al exterior y con el dinero que gana ah\u00ed comienza a guardar para comprarse sus primeros instrumentos. Su hermano Hern\u00e1n Vergara no estuvo de acuerdo al principio con esta vida pero el la escogi\u00f3 y la sigui\u00f3, cosechando \u00e9xitos.<\/p>\n

He was born on July 7, 1948 in Las Tablas, Panama. His parents are Abraham Vergara and Mercedes Diaz de Vergara.<\/p>\n

Ulpiano has been in business for more than 40 years, making him one of the most recognized figures in Panama. Explains the singer who played accordions since he was 6 years old. He also says that the first notes were taught to him by his brother Hern\u00e1n Vergara.<\/p>\n

His ensemble has been made up of many artists, including Domingo “Mingo” Cede\u00f1o, Dalys Villarreal, Franklin Vergara (brother), Luis Rey (Lucho) De Sedas, Elita Delgado, among others. His career began at a very young age when he played his first dance in San Miguel, a neighboring town to San Jos\u00e9. Then he comes to study in Panama at the National Institute where he participates in the folkloric group of Professor Petita Escobar, where he has the opportunity to travel abroad and with the money he earns there he begins to save to buy his first instruments. His brother Hern\u00e1n Vergara did not agree with this life at first, but he chose it and followed it, reaping success.<\/p>\n
